HoldGuest
This little plugin allows you to set a zone your guests must stay inside. Very nice for making them read the rules etc.
How to install and use:
- Download the HoldGuest.jar file and place it in your plugin folder.
- Start your server and then stop it again.
- Edit the msgConfig.yml and the config.yml (the radius config can also be edited ingame).
- Start your server.
- Give the appropriate permissions to the different groups/players.
- Go to the middle of where you want the sphere to be created.
- Type /holdguest center
- Enjoy.
Command | Description |
---|---|
/holdguest center | Set the center of the sphere your guests must stay inside. |
/holdguest radius <blocks> | Set the radius of the sphere - How far will you let them wander from the center? |
/holdguest reload | Reload the configuration for the plugin |
Permission | Description |
---|---|
holdguest.nohold | Give this to any group/player you don't want to hold inside the zone. |
holdguest.setcenter | Permission to set the center of the zone. |
holdguest.setradius | To set the radius of the sphere (zone). |
holdguest.reload | To reload the configuration. |
You can edit all messages inside the msgConfig.yml
What a nice plugin :P! thanks Erbros, pretty cool system :D btw, color message?
@NoahIvaldi
It's all on the permission system you are using :)
This looks pretty good. I have a small issue, though; how does the guest rank up? Does this plugin come with a little doo-dad to do that, or is that all on other plugins?
@IIGoldII
Hi, can you please report in this ticket instead? I would love more feedback to what "same here" means, as Conderan only have problems with number 3 now.
@Conderan
Same here :/
Having some trouble with the plugin.
1. Message people get when they try to exit the zone isn't taking the edit to the config file.
2. Distance isn't really measured in blocks. It seems to make a difference, but i had to set the distance to ~100 to get a whole 15x15 room taken care of.
3. When people get promoted with sign rank, they still can't leave the area. promoting them and then demoting them seems to do the trick, but this sort of defeats the whole purpose.
