Higher World Hack
Higher World Hack
Recently I've been noticing the lack of an updated method to increase world height, so I made this. Previous solutions have built directly on Minecraft, but this one uses Bukkit to be far removed from the chaos of Minecraft's internals.

Technical details
The approach this plugin takes is to have worlds on top of one another, and teleport players when they get near the boundary. So that you can mine in a cave near the bottom of the world without having to put up with teleports every time you jump up or step down a block, some area is shared across the worlds. Changes to a world (so far, only players' block place and break events are supported) are also applied to other worlds.
WARNING
THIS PLUGIN IS VERY EARLY IN DEVELOPMENT!
- It will make some of the most useful portions of your world's underground space inaccessible unless you plan for it, by copying over the underground to the world below.
- Terrain synchronization is in large part not implemented. The terrain you see in the video was copied over using Worldedit. Player block changes are the only thing that is properly carried over.
- You may have to reload it (/hwh reload) to get it to load stacking specified in its config.
BE CAREFUL! THIS PLUGIN WILL MESS UP YOUR WORLD IF YOU AREN'T CAREFUL!
- You can thoroughly mess up a world with approximately three chat commands, if you have permission to use them. BACK UP YOUR WORLDS, TEST YOUR SETUPS!
Hello. I just want you to know, there was a plugin that does the same thing (and very good at it), It's now abandoned, the author is looking for someone to pick it up. Maybe you could find it useful. http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/inception/
