HideStream
Compatible with PaperMC & Spigot, and anything else that supports Spigot API.
HideStream is doing one simple task for you; hiding spam output such as join & leave messages from appearing in the chat. This can be beneficial for high-traffic servers, where players are logging out and in repetitively.
You can also adapt HideStream to suit your server perfectly using a configuration file provided.
Features
- Hiding/disabling:
- Join/log-in messages.
- Quit/log-out messages.
- Kick messages.
- Death messages.
- Manage whom will have their stream output hidden/visible using permissions.
- A command to disable and enable HideStream at any time.
- Per-player toggling without using a permissions system. (Completely optional, disabled by default)
- Ability to only hide stream for new or old players.
- Ability to only hide stream when there's a certain amount of players online.
- Can even be toggled in-game using a command.
- Multi-world support : Exempt certain worlds. (Version 3.10+)
- Customize the no permission message for commands and its colorization.

- You can also auto-update using a command.
Click here to visit the HideStream resource page over at Spigot, however the BukkitDev page here is the official plugin home =)
please update to 1.9
please update to 1.9
@DartRM
Hey Dart, You can find a 1.9 version here > https://github.com/ediTv2/HideStream/releases/tag/1.9
Please update to 1.9!)
Can you please add the ability to hide AFK as well?
Please, add feature for separate toggle of death, join and quit messages!
And maybe you can do death messages by radius?? (Like local chat in essentials)

Hey guys, I've just tested with mine and it seems that the join messages only appear for those that are OP'd so it's just a permission related bug with the plugin, non-OPs don't see the join messages so there's nothing to worry about.
Hope this helps!
Is this plugin light on server resources? I have many players online, constantly relogging, logging in, out.
Hi, I'm trying to use this plugin only to hide the "You do not have permission to use this command" messages.
It's not working. Here is my config: http://pastebin.com/rJzJNRrN
I tested on a fully blank, default user with no perms at all. Do I need to ADD a perm to hide the no perm message?
This was the previous plugin I used: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/antijoinleavemessages/
This had the option so you could disable it for any player or player in a specific group (via permissions) but everyone else would see it.
Is this possible with this plugin?
@Fabyold
Use a permissions plugin to negate what you want.
How do hidden messages of entry and exit for those with OP?
@guerocraft
Same
I also see messages when someone is connecting. Is it a bug?
For some reason, the plugin only disables death, kick, and quit messages, but not join messages. I've checked the config already and hidejoin is set to true already, so maybe it's a bug or an issue with conflicting plugins? Any help would be appreciated.
@VizionStudios
This is not a bug, the site was either down at the time or your server was running without an internet connection.
Please use pastebin or something similar instead of spamming the whole error log next time.
Hello when my server start up it keep on saying this and you plz fix this bug in your next update.
[Mod edit: Removed big fat Updater error message]
@Nitrodox
That is already possible by changing the 'NeedsToBeOnline' value in each stream category.
If you set the value to 10 in the join stream, join messages will begin being hidden when there are 10 players online.
I tested the 'NoCommandPermissionMsg' setting, and it's working like it should here.
Do you think it would be possible to add a feature to automatically stop displaying the join/leave message after a certain amount of players have joined, and start displaying them again when the player count is less than specified? (To stop spam)
Also, for some reason the "NoCommandPermissionMsg" setting doesn't seem to do anything for me.
Thanks
Version: 3.6.1
@ShadowCrafter829
That is not the purpose of this plugin.

If you are using an old version of the plugin 'AuthMe', please update it.
This issue has nothing to do with HideStream, unless you're running an altered or bugged craftbukkit version.
