HiddenLight
HiddenLight is a useful and nifty plugin that will allow the creation of Hidden Light Sources in your world, without needing to use torches, glowstone or blocks that emit light. This is an extremely useful tool for mapmakers who require their map to be well lit at certain areas, or server owners who simply want to light up their spawn.
Commands, Permissions and Usage
| Command | Permission Node | Usage |
|---|---|---|
| /light | hiddenlight.cmd | Allows you to use the main command, and view the help menu. |
| /light create | hiddenlight.create | Allows the creation of a Hidden Light Source where you are standing. |
| /light remove | hiddenlight.remove | Allows the deletion of a Hidden Light Source where you are standing. |
Installation
To install this plugin, download the latest HiddenLight.jar file, place it in the plugins directory of you Bukkit server, and restart it.

Posted Nov 2, 2014Glad to see you back on this! =D This plugin did work pretty fine, sad that it broke with lasts uptades. Ho, and the construction on the screen i gave you has been a bit -much ^_^- modified, so if you want, once you uptaded your plugin i could give you new screens!

Posted Oct 11, 2014@Ordrox Thanks for those beautiful screenshots Ordrox :D Will probably use them when I release the new update (will add credits). Planning on adding something like a tool (or "wand") in a future update.

It seems if old lights exists for you, there is still a way to recreate this plugin.

I've tryed on my test server 1.7.10 (spigot), the plugin won't create any new light but the lights created in 1.7.2 or 1.7.4 (don't remember wich) are still working.

Posted May 13, 2014Hi there, just found your plugin and i must say, it's maybe the feature i've waited the most! I just tested it with a construction i am doing, i post the screens if you want to use them for the promotion of this plugin.
Sample one and the same with SEUS v10.1 shader
Oh, and i've an idea to improve your plugin, being able to use a tool. Like a cube that you only need to put where you want the ligh source, for now, it works well with the /powertool command from essentials but we can't reach every place that way, or we need to break some cubes.
Great plugin btw.

Hello IPOIORION.
Glad you like the plugin :) Well, players will need to relog after you create a light to see it, as I haven't added chunk updates yet. Also, I'll try to fix those commands in a new version for the newer versions of bukkit as soon as I can.

Posted Apr 13, 2014Love this idea, as I cannot find anything that boosts the light radius like it says it does. The only problem I have is that the /light remove command does not work... it actually adds light. And I was just told by my members, that they cannot see the light I made, nor can I see theirs.
