HawkEye Reloaded
NOTE
HawkEye Reloaded is still under active development! Due to many table altering changes we've been making, we've only been uploading new releases to our Jenkins Development build website.

I am currently very busy and cannot answer any questions.. I will try to keep all my plugins updated during my absence
Yeah, when you download it and run it up, it's actually 1.0.6.1...
If you install HawkEye Reloaded v1.0.6.3, you get a message in the server.log:
[INFO] [HawkEye] Performing update check...
[WARNING] [HawkEye] New version of HawkEye available: 1064
[WARNING] [HawkEye] Compatible with your current version of CraftBukkit
[WARNING] [HawkEye] New version info: HeroChat support
@DukeVindzor
Hmmm, it stops logging? I've never had this issue before, even on a creative server were just about everyone uses nuker. It could be your mysql database, I'm not sure.
Hi, I have this problem that hawkeye just suddenly stops logging, and it is often after somoene uses nodus. It this a problem with the wamp server?
@Tombikos
This one is actively developed whereas the original HawkEye is totally inactive and hasn't been updated for quite some time. We are working on adding more features and expanding the API. Also the latest version fixes some issues with stairs and their orientation. We are also working on adding WorldEdit logging.
@Tombikos
Changelog has a small list, and seeing as this one is actually being updated...
So, what are the advantages over the original HawkEye (that still works btw)?
@Tallcraft
No problem!
@CrazyPumpkinFTW
:)
@Icefuzion
Thanks!
I love you guys for updating and maintaining this plugin. Keep up the good work.
Briliant! Thank you <3
Just updated from the old HawkEye. Everything runs smooth. Thank you for the "stair-fix" ! :)
Is it possible to log only a specific HeroChat Channel?
@bob7l
Thanks for your consideration!!
I think an individual file per logging event would be better, we're a smaller server and probably average over 2 MB Logblock files/month. But if you can only do one file I'll take what I can get!
I think: date/time location player (blockbreak/place/chat/whatever else) is best so that you can scan down the list and quickly see the players all lined up.
@paulj1x
Alright we'll think about it.. You need to understand, we have a huge priority list. We want to make sure this plugin runs perfectly with no errors what so ever.
Here is what it might look like..
[Date] (playername) (blockbreak/place/chat/whatever else) [Location] [Date] (playername) (blockbreak/place/chat/whatever else) [Location] [Date] (playername) (blockbreak/place/chat/whatever else) [Location] [Date] (playername) (blockbreak/place/chat/whatever else) [Location]
Every time you log, it'll produce small lines to separate the different logging event times.
I do feel this feature is vital to many server owners, we most likely will be adding this feature in but you need to be patient and allow us time to work on this project + the many other projects we're all currently working on.
@bob7l
What would be most helpful would be if the day/time were used for the log file name so there is never a duplicate. Since you want to keep these for 6 months in case somebody disputes their ban it's important that the log not overwrite any previous logs.
@FunkyLoveCow
try last dev #14
@hatefulbox
Hmm.. Well this could be a database issue considering it has to do with reading through the mysql tables. Try the newest DEV.
@bob7l
Overwriting the log whenever executing the log print command would be fine. Thanks for the feature consideration!
Does this have any added functionality over the original one?
@bob7l
Yeah I think I need vault because i'm using group manager and I just saw that you need vault if you are using that.
Thanks for the help though and I can't wait for world edit to start working for rollbacks again!
Also now I can see who did the greifing, but when I go to rollback nothing ever seems to happen. Do I need to have it make a new folder for hawkeye or will It still work with the old one? Also i'm using the new version and have wampserver as my database.
