Hardcore Ban on Death
Description
This is the Hardcore Ban On Death plugin you can add to your server to greatly improve the Hardcore mode. It allows the server owner to specify ban times for specific groups. Each group has their own ban duration, ban message and a message if they join too early.
I will continue to support this and add many more features. If you have any suggestions please let me know through a ticket.
Installation and configuration
Place the HardcoreBanOnDeath.jar into your plugins directory. Then all you need to do is run your server.

Metrics
This plugin sends anonymous statistics about the usage to the server www.mcstats.org/. You can disable it by setting "opt-out" to true in \plugins\PluginMetrics\config.yml.
Auto-checking for updates
This plugin will check for updates using Curse's ServerMods API. It always checks the current version with the version on BukkitDev and will notify ops or any players/groups with the hbod.admin permission that there is an update available. It will never automatically download an update without the user typing /hbod update. All of the updates are downloaded from BukkitDev. These checks can be disabled in the config.yml by setting checkForUpdates to false.
Hello,
does it works with 1.12 ? I do have troubles to add it to my server (paperspigot)
I do not use multiverse.
Did I forgot a permission or something ?
Thanks
Seems like an amazing project I have a few problems with multiworlds however it may be fixed later
Will there be multi world support? i see a section where you can opt out some world, but when one of my players gets banned they are just able to rejoin instantly and into that world, Instead of being banned from that world for that period of time.
I have the same issue. I dont even get the "banned" message(s).
Instead of the opt out you better have it to opt in, that way you know in what world it should be active.
I'm not sure if it looks for a default "world" world or a "custom" named world, mine are custom named but the plugin has no effect whatsoever
If they can join strait after they die then this plugin doesn't have any affect on being banned for so many minutes/hours (time isn't specified what format it is, hours or minutes).
Might aswell delete it from the plugin list.
EDIT:
It also gives me this error, which might help you fixing the plugin

I love this plugin on another server i was working on, but i recently inherited a server before i could finish mine, so i added in a PVP world to their already finished structure, and the plugin just doesn't offer multi-world support it seems, it would absolutely amazing if it did. but currently I'm still look as this doesn't work.
It's not running on the latest build of Spigot 1.8.8, even with a fresh install without any other plugins.
hastebin.
Late reply but have you negated the permission if you're an op?
Is it possible to have the mod not clear people's ender chests?
Late reply but you need to change "cleanPlayerOnBan" to false in the config.
@LightningJimmy
Also, as a feature request: Please add a feature where you can run a command(or commands) when a person dies. Thanks!
I am using CraftBukkit/Spigot 1.8 and it does not actually ban the player. All this plugin does for me is kick the player and tell the player he is banned, but the plugin does not ban the player. Please fix this fast!
This is a great addon. Thank you! Works pretty great with spigot 1.8.8. A simple feature I would love to see is the ability to set a delay on ban after death, even for just a few seconds.
Absolutely amazing :D The only thing is that on my 1.8.8 server, using the permission HBOD.default wouldnt work because it kept switching default to 720 minutes, when i wanted it to be 20. I just changed default to rookie permission (HBOD.Rookie) and set banDuration: 20 to fix that :) ty so much, this is a great plugin!!!!!
