Grief Prevention
AUTOMATICALLY PREVENTS ALL FORMS OF GRIEF, including build/break, theft, spam, fire, spawn camping, lava dumping, chat trolling, advertising and more, so you don't have to undo any damage after the fact. It even teaches players how to use it so you don't have to! No configuration or database required. Stop responding to grief and prevent it instead. Grief Prevention will solve your grief problems without requiring you to manage a roster of trained administrators, juggle 10 different anti-grief plugins, take away cool standard game features, publish a training manual / tutorial for players, or add explanatory signs to your world. You can also choose to integrate PvP elements into build design to finally get a PvP experience befitting a sandbox game about creative building.
Grief Prevention stops grief before it starts automatically without any effort from administrators, and with very little (self service) effort from players. Solve all your grief problems with a single download, no database, and no configuration step.

Please Vote for Grief Prevention
I've also posted Grief Prevention on the Spigot site, where plugins are ranked based on reviews. If you love GP, please take a couple of minutes to give GP your rating and leave a short review. Better rating and positive reviews will help server owners who look for plugins on the Spigot site make the safe choice (GP) instead of downloading something sketchy or incomplete. :) Thanks so much for all your support!

@CaptainLuther
In such cases I create a subclaim in the spawn claim and containertrust public or all (/ct public) on this subclaim. Maybe accesstrust (/at public) is enough for clicking signs. So nobody can do anything on your spawn claim BUT everyone can use what you have on the subclaim within this spawn claim.
Hello. So I have a problem. The server that I co-own with my friend got this plugin for our spawns. This is a still WIP it's not finished yet. So it's not public. But we were testing out and we use Multiverse 2 to make signs that teleport you to different worlds. But when we protected the survival with griefprovention, and we de-opped ourselves to test it, we couldn't use the sign to teleport! Can you either add this or help me?
My players have been complaining lately about dying in PvP combat and being able to attack other people that died in PvP combat at spawn which is PvP protected after respawning.
I assume its because of allowing players to not abuse pvp protected areas while in PvP combat, but could you make it so when you die it resets that rule?
Thanks
The video shows that /containertrust can now be used to allow players to harvest crops.
Unfortunately this doesn't seem to work. Will it be added? As giving players full /trust so they can harvest crops, can get quite messy :(
@WireleZz
No, you gotta use a button or lever to fix this. Why? Because if I changed it, players would still push NPCs or bait monsters to step on your pressure plates. If I disabled that, then players would complain about their monster grinders not working.
@diskman2000
Yeah I think that's WG being mean to you.
@Bobcat00
Reeeeely.... Ok, I will look into that.. odd.
@diskman2000
"Hey! Sorry, but you can't hit that here." sounds like a WorldGuard message.
@WireleZz
Pretty sure its not configable and wont be, use a button outside insteed.
Cant use splash potions on mobs to kill them or to revert zombies back to villagers in owners claims. When you try, it just comes up with the message "Hey! Sorry, but you can't hit that here." Even if the owners are trying to HEAL zombies or kill mobs in grinders with potions.
Ideas?
Hello, I would like to know if this is possible to get fixed:
For example: 1. I own a home with a claim and i trusted nobody. 2. I own a iron door with presureplates infront of my house and inside my house. 3. When people throw items on the presureplate (outside my house), The door opens however they do not have acces for the claim.
Any way to disable this?
@bigscary
Alright, fair enough. Thanks for the response.
@pielord17
No, it's not an option. There are two reasons. First, that means if you lose a siege, they take ALL your stuff. There's a big difference between losing what you were carrying (same as vanilla minecraft pvp) and potentially losing everything you own for losing one (often unfair) fight. Second, players could cheat that system by surrounding chests with solid blocks (and keeping them that way when not accessing, because they can't add those blocks during a siege). So that means players who know the "hide your chests trick" never lose anything, while others lose everything.
@lecivic
It's very likely you need to update your server JAR. Re-run buildtools to make sure you're on the latest server version.
@dadee971
Please check that your server is updated to the latest (rerun buildtools).
@jahangir13
thank you so much! That did work. All I had to do was add values.
@stearman10
Economy: ClaimBlocksPurchaseCost: 0.0 ClaimBlocksSellValue: 0.0
There is no explicit on/off option. You need to set one of these values > 0 to enable buy or sell or both > 0 to allow both as far as I now.
I have a question. i have this plugin installed on my server, along with vault and economy. in the game, whenever i type /buyclaimblocks it says "buying/selling claim blocks is disabled". how do i fix this? i can't find anything like this in the config file. please help
It seems that people qcan still build in wilderness with that: SurvivalRequiringClaims
Using lastest version of GriefPrevention + Spigot 1.8.3.
@DescendingShadows
Check your configuration
InvestigationTool: STICK
I love this plugin as it helps IMMENSELY with anti-griefing. However I encountered one problem. I use this with a modpack, and one of the mods, DogCatPlus, requires a stick to get into your pet's inventory. However in Grief Prevention the stick tells you if someone has claimed a block or not. I was wondering how I could change what the stick does to a piece of leather rather than the stick. This way I can open my pet's inventory with a stick and check claims with a piece of leather.
Hey there !
i got a problem,. iv did the new update for grief prevention but no matter what the config says with ProtectCreatures: true people can still kill other people's animals in there claim, if tried everything,
it was working fine befor the update :(
you know what i can do about this ?
thnx Greets Lecivic
Is there a way to allow siege winners to access chests as well?
