Grief Prevention
AUTOMATICALLY PREVENTS ALL FORMS OF GRIEF, including build/break, theft, spam, fire, spawn camping, lava dumping, chat trolling, advertising and more, so you don't have to undo any damage after the fact. It even teaches players how to use it so you don't have to! No configuration or database required. Stop responding to grief and prevent it instead. Grief Prevention will solve your grief problems without requiring you to manage a roster of trained administrators, juggle 10 different anti-grief plugins, take away cool standard game features, publish a training manual / tutorial for players, or add explanatory signs to your world. You can also choose to integrate PvP elements into build design to finally get a PvP experience befitting a sandbox game about creative building.
Grief Prevention stops grief before it starts automatically without any effort from administrators, and with very little (self service) effort from players. Solve all your grief problems with a single download, no database, and no configuration step.

Please Vote for Grief Prevention
I've also posted Grief Prevention on the Spigot site, where plugins are ranked based on reviews. If you love GP, please take a couple of minutes to give GP your rating and leave a short review. Better rating and positive reviews will help server owners who look for plugins on the Spigot site make the safe choice (GP) instead of downloading something sketchy or incomplete. :) Thanks so much for all your support!

@Shaduckster
Yep, if your world is in creative rules mode, you can't drop items - assuming all players are in creative mode, there's little reason for honest players to drop an item (and griefers could drop lots of them to lag the server). :)
@bigpresh
I found the problem
It was up in Claims .: The fashion was on credits so could no longer drop items
So the world must be set to survive . Fashion: spawnie : Creative test : Creative world - > Survival < - world_nether : Creative world_the_end : Creative map : Creative
@bigpresh
No dont have lag claring.but Lag Meter ?
But when i deleted the Griefing Prevention Plugin it works
@Shaduckster
Do you have any other plugins installed? In particular, "lag clearing" ones which would clear up dropped items?
@bigpresh
If I want to throw objects from the inventory to the ground disappearing objects . And if I like mine blocks then the objects are also deleted . The objects disappear when they are removed from the inventory
@Shaduckster
What do you mean? What happens when you try to drop items? And how were items "deleted" while you were mining?
You'll need to provide more details, as it's not entirely clear what you're asking currently.
Dropping items is prevented whilst you're engaged in PvP, but once you've taken no damage from other players for a short period that will stop.
Hi People
First nice Plugin :) I like it
But i cant drop items from the inventory and/or the items was deleted when i mining :/ what can i do ? PLS HELP
@Lexi984
Not sure about root cause - instead of waiting for a fix from me, consider using /accesstrust public to give everyone permission to activate buttons in your admin land claims.
@ProthvarGaming
Are you on a very old version of the plugin? All modern versions (released in the last year or so) allow dumping water and lava outside of land claims.
@missemilia06
I've heard this before but I've never been able to reproduce it. Please check that your Minecraft version matches your GriefPrevention version. For example all the latest releases have been for Minecraft 1.10.
@FastFelix771
I don't think so - if it does, it's by accident. I only coded/tested for MySQL. Anyway, I recommend NOT using a database with GriefPrevention. GP will not go faster or be more efficient in database mode, so you're just adding database management headache for no benefit.
Hi, im using GriefPrevention for years now and it always served me well! On modded and unmodded servers, in so many situations... - thanks for creating this awesome all-in-one guardian, u have done well!
But, i've a little question about database support: Will GriefPrevention work with Microsoft SQL Server 2016 (or older)? If so, please tell me what steps are required to get it working! :)
@bigpresh Thank's for your quick reply & help. :-)
Thanks for the response about the trampling! I have one more issue that just arose. Items in item frames are no longer protected on claimed land. Running most recent update of Grief Prevention. This is allowing people to take the items and grief. Any fix?
Thanks, it's really my only real complaint basically didn't want to have to set a new claim any time i made obsidian
@ProthvarGaming
There's no config setting to disable prevention of fluid flows into/out of claims. You could always raise a ticket requesting it, but I don't know whether it'd be considered generally useful enough to implement.
As for TNT, the config_blockSurfaceOtherExplosions setting controls whether those are blocked on the surface or not (and whether they are allowed within a claim is controlled by /claimexplosions).
Okay, sorry if I missed it, I love your plugins, the only thing that has ever really bugged me about this plugin, is i couldn't figure out (note im very new to editing configs lol) how to get water and lava to flow outside of the claims and same for TNT, as I said I could of missed it, but that is the only thing i was curious if i can turn off ( i mean i understand inside claims)
@RaThoLa
Set Claims.AutomaticNewPlayerClaimsRadius to a negative value to disable automatic claims around first chests placed entirely. Do consider whether you need to do that, though; it's a valuable way to help new player's stuff be protected while they're getting settled, before they've been able to mine enough to create a golden shovel to create claims themselves.
Is there any way to disable the "auto claim function" by placing a chest?
(before you read, i turned off preventbuttonswitches) (the only claims on the server are admin claims) (i updated to the latest verison after reading) I use this plugin and I love it, but I have one problem. Most of my areas in my game are powered by command blocks (its kind of a test if you can run a server combining command blocks and plugins). It works well but the problem is that players cant use the buttons in admin claims. Is there a way to allow players to do this?
@TheSilverDuckie
Best solution would be to get your server to 1.10 and use the latest GP. But I understand maybe you can't do that if you're waiting for other plugins to update.
At the very least, make sure you're running the latest version of GP that was made for 1.9, and also update your server to the last 1.9 build.
Expected behavior is that the special tool you use for claiming land won't do anything else (including grass path creation for example) on right click.
@missemilia06
Yep that's the way it's supposed to work nowadays. The "absolutely no one can trample crops ever" behavior was a bug that took away something from vanilla minecraft that wasn't a griefing problem.
@bigpresh
I am using The latest version for 1.7.10. If it is corruption. I may have to purge the files and re install it.
