Grief Prevention
AUTOMATICALLY PREVENTS ALL FORMS OF GRIEF, including build/break, theft, spam, fire, spawn camping, lava dumping, chat trolling, advertising and more, so you don't have to undo any damage after the fact. It even teaches players how to use it so you don't have to! No configuration or database required. Stop responding to grief and prevent it instead. Grief Prevention will solve your grief problems without requiring you to manage a roster of trained administrators, juggle 10 different anti-grief plugins, take away cool standard game features, publish a training manual / tutorial for players, or add explanatory signs to your world. You can also choose to integrate PvP elements into build design to finally get a PvP experience befitting a sandbox game about creative building.
Grief Prevention stops grief before it starts automatically without any effort from administrators, and with very little (self service) effort from players. Solve all your grief problems with a single download, no database, and no configuration step.

Please Vote for Grief Prevention
I've also posted Grief Prevention on the Spigot site, where plugins are ranked based on reviews. If you love GP, please take a couple of minutes to give GP your rating and leave a short review. Better rating and positive reviews will help server owners who look for plugins on the Spigot site make the safe choice (GP) instead of downloading something sketchy or incomplete. :) Thanks so much for all your support!

Reading documentation could help. If your stuff is inside a claim, use /trust public
If it's because it's a creative world, set the claim mode to Survival.
Hey can you make a scoreboard with a map where you can see what you have claimed?
This would be a perfect idea for an addon. This plugin's API is able to provide such information to an addon to do this.
Hello,
Is there a way to disable notices? For example, my players are complaining that they're getting spammed with the message: Other players can build here, too. Consider creating a land claim to protect your work! Can I disable this? If so, how? Thanks for the help :)
Donnie
Set the corresponding messages.yml string to an empty string; two single quotes as such: ''
@Spyrz
I think you'll need to be a bit more detailed in what you're trying to achieve. Unless I'm being dim, I don't understand what you mean about putting a claim book in a sign...
At a guess, do you mean a "magic" sign which, when clicked, gives you the claim book?
@mukulibukuli
I think it a bit strange that you expect the dev of this project to spend all that time trying to release an alternative version just so you can run Minecraft on a machine woefully underpowered to do so sensibly.
At the end of the day, the project is likely to target the most common usage scenarios; if your usage is unusual, it might not suit you.
@FL1GHT5
If you're trying to use the latest Grief Prevention on an ancient 1.6.x MC version, that's highly unlikely to work. You'll need to look for the last GP version released for 1.6.x and try that I think.
Hello, If you could make a new plugin, which doesnt contain any of the above except the simple claiming part that would be great. Im runnin og a Rasberry pi, so it cant hold that much of space. Thanks
Feel free to fork. It's open source.
Hello.
I've been googling my a of but i can't seem to find how to make a kit sign with the claimbook in it.
I would love to get some info on the matter.
BTW Thank you for the best plugin for MC
Im the owner of my server. I want to claim the spawn so people don't destroy. Can i give myself claim blocks? If not add it plz
is there a command PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!
You can do /adminclaims. This will put you in a claim mode that doesn't worry about how many blocks you have
Anyone had a chance to test this out with 1.11 yet? =)
Is it possible to limit which commands / permission nodes are available to people based on their rank? For example, I would like to remove the Buy/Sell and Seige commands (upon a few others) for the default Member rank, because they just simply aren't used on the server. And it tidies up their command list.
Hello, I currently just started a modpack server. Attack Of The B-Team Server 1.6.4 and I've added the Grief Prevention Plugin.
Yes I did stop the server - added the plugin - start up the server again then grief prevention files loaded.
my problem is that when I do go on the server as "OP" or not I can't seem to receive the starting kit chest nor the Golden Spade. when I do give myself those two items and try to test claim, I cannot seem to get it working. Is there a reason of why that is happening? I also am using the latest Grief Prevention plugin.
> the latest Grief Prevention plugin.
That's your mistake. Go to files and find one for 1.6.4
I'm having an issue with using GP and PlotSquared.
When I type /p home and go into my claimed area, GriefPrevention says that I don't have permission to build. I have to type /ignoreclaims to build on it. I don't want my players to have this error when trying to use it.
Is there a setting to where I can fix that?
@MasterMithrandir
To disable, simply set the corresponding messages.yml line to an empty string (two quotation marks).
Semi-unrelated, I'm not sure why people are opposed to "more" plugins in itself - Having multiple smaller plugins or one big plugin takes up the same amount of resources. (If anything, it's harder to identify performance issues in a bigger plugin.)
@The_PC_Tech_Guy
I won't be adding aditional plugins just for this. In fact if I can disable it please tell me how. It's either all in or nothing :P
I would suggest this feature to be improved.
