Grief Prevention
AUTOMATICALLY PREVENTS ALL FORMS OF GRIEF, including build/break, theft, spam, fire, spawn camping, lava dumping, chat trolling, advertising and more, so you don't have to undo any damage after the fact. It even teaches players how to use it so you don't have to! No configuration or database required. Stop responding to grief and prevent it instead. Grief Prevention will solve your grief problems without requiring you to manage a roster of trained administrators, juggle 10 different anti-grief plugins, take away cool standard game features, publish a training manual / tutorial for players, or add explanatory signs to your world. You can also choose to integrate PvP elements into build design to finally get a PvP experience befitting a sandbox game about creative building.
Grief Prevention stops grief before it starts automatically without any effort from administrators, and with very little (self service) effort from players. Solve all your grief problems with a single download, no database, and no configuration step.

Please Vote for Grief Prevention
I've also posted Grief Prevention on the Spigot site, where plugins are ranked based on reviews. If you love GP, please take a couple of minutes to give GP your rating and leave a short review. Better rating and positive reviews will help server owners who look for plugins on the Spigot site make the safe choice (GP) instead of downloading something sketchy or incomplete. :) Thanks so much for all your support!

@bigpresh
Everyone and everything can trample on claims and outside of them. Running the most recent version 14.8.1
Edit: I did some further testing. It appears that players can trample their own crops in their claims and anyone trusted can also trample.
@missemilia06
Trampling by mobs, other players, or both? Within claims or outside?
Which Grief Prevention version are you running?
Hey there! I have an issue to report. I looked through comments and haven't seen it reported anywhere else though which is kind of discouraging. But we have an issue with crop trampling since updating to 1.10. Regardless to what the config is set to for it, it still allows the trampling to happen.
Help? Thanks!
@GodsDead
Have you tried disabling any other plugins that could be conflicting, and seeing if you still get the same behaviour?
EDIT: Also, please state the MC and GP versions you're running.
im using 14.7 and i think 1.9-r0.1-snapshot
@starsonlyone
Weird. It almost sounds like some form of data corruption in the claim storage files. I've never used a Cauldron server, I don't know how much it differs from e.g. Spigot, but whether that's at all relevant I don't know. What GP version are you using?
@TheSilverDuckie
What Grief Prevention version are you using? More recent versions handle preventing right-clicking with a shovel causing dirt path formation. With older versions, a workaround would be to temporarily place a block where you want the claim corner, then right click that block with the shovel.
The fact you're getting the message telling you how many claim blocks you have suggests the plugin is installed & working, at least. So, what happens when you try other blocks? Are you able to create a claim by right-clicking two opposite corners?
Please also mention what server version and GP versions you're using.
Helo when i try to claim turns the grass into grass path i have also tryed with other blocks like stone and wood like when i use it it says "You may claim up to 100 block Click for Land Claim Help"
I know this is the 4th of july but I am having major issues. If you can contact me on skype at live:starsonlyone it would be appreciated but anyway. I have been using this plugin since I started creating servers 4 year i think could be wrong. It really is the best one out there. However I have been having major issues this last couple of months. I am on a culdron server 1.7.10. One problem we have is when the server restarts all the subclaims reset like they were never there. Another issue we are having is sometimes claims appear that have no owner and the stick tool does not register them. If you try to claim it says there is a claim there. You can not abandon it or override the claim for some reason so the only way we can get rid of it for sure is restart the server, which would not be too much of an issue except it is becoming more frequent. I am not sure what to do.. Because of this the other owner is wanting to go with another plugin but I love this plugin and want to get it fixed so I dont have to abandon it :( any help would be wonderful!
@bigpresh
Oh you're right :)
@evilLamer
I think that's intentional; wolves will attack, and if they could hurt you but you couldn't hurt them, it'd unbalance PvP bigtime - imagine you go to kill someone at their claim, and their pack of dogs go for you - they could keep on hurting you, but you couldn't defend yourself.
Hello, I think i found a bug, I hope it's only a mistake in my config but players can kill others wolves in others claims :(
They can not right click them but they can left click and damage them.
Pigs, Sheeps and others are protected but not Wolves.
Here is my config:

I'll get the fire thing fixed today.
EDIT: Fixed.
@bobbensun
I dunno what that is. Nope.
@MightyMooshroom
See setup/config page. You can set the claim mode to survivalrequiringclaims.
@comonier
Yes I have.
@aliyah555
/DeleteAllClaims <player name>
@SlurpeeOfficial
I don't understand what you're asking for, but I'm working on 1.10 only now anyway. Sorry!
@selfservice0
There's a couple of new config nodes where you can set how fast players with various permission nodes earn blocks.
@evilLamer
Thanks! Problem is fixed!
@evilLamer
Fixed it: https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/fix-griefprevention-fire.25381/
I can't figure out how to make a group earn claim blocks quicker. Does anyone know?
@laelbe
yes! my players are griefing armorstands and killing people in claims! please fix it :(
can you PLEASE make a 1.8 version and edit the config so i buy and sell claimblocks PLEASE!!!!!!
Fire Arrow can ignore GriefPrevention Protect!
Can we make it possible to Delete all of a certain players claims? Like I know you can delete all players claims (Thank you for that by the way) But when banning a player that has broken a rule can we make it possible to either transfer the claims or delete the players claims without having to teleport to each claim? (If this is already possible I'm sorry for this post)
