Grief Prevention
AUTOMATICALLY PREVENTS ALL FORMS OF GRIEF, including build/break, theft, spam, fire, spawn camping, lava dumping, chat trolling, advertising and more, so you don't have to undo any damage after the fact. It even teaches players how to use it so you don't have to! No configuration or database required. Stop responding to grief and prevent it instead. Grief Prevention will solve your grief problems without requiring you to manage a roster of trained administrators, juggle 10 different anti-grief plugins, take away cool standard game features, publish a training manual / tutorial for players, or add explanatory signs to your world. You can also choose to integrate PvP elements into build design to finally get a PvP experience befitting a sandbox game about creative building.
Grief Prevention stops grief before it starts automatically without any effort from administrators, and with very little (self service) effort from players. Solve all your grief problems with a single download, no database, and no configuration step.

Please Vote for Grief Prevention
I've also posted Grief Prevention on the Spigot site, where plugins are ranked based on reviews. If you love GP, please take a couple of minutes to give GP your rating and leave a short review. Better rating and positive reviews will help server owners who look for plugins on the Spigot site make the safe choice (GP) instead of downloading something sketchy or incomplete. :) Thanks so much for all your support!

using a gp version griefprevention-11.jar at 152kb in size. When i translate the messages.yml, it is getting overwritten asap the plugin has started up, from danish back into english. I cant see there is any indication in config to set this?
@ridddle
I'll see about disabling the warning after the player has claimed a bit of area.
@flurryknox
Set the sea level override in the config to 4 and that should fix it. I'll see if I can fix that in the next build but I had that problem in my creative flatworld as well.
@ridddle
Have you tried version 7.7 and see if that fixes your problem?
@Tux2
Hey sorry i didn't get it the first time in case u forgot ever since the update I wasn't able to claim so plz help here's a link to my config for griefprevention http://paste.yu8.me/?4c595ed4f71fff84#edJJB5ycWJ5BcCFxC6qcOua3Fefz4jimTmJZ4vtj2s4=
seems like the latest dev build is bugged when it comes to creative worlds. i keep try to restore nature in my creative world but the plugin places a giant 3 or 4 layer grass square above the build instead of restoring it. any ideas?
Hey Tux!
Can we please get a way to toggle the "Other players can undo you work here!" message? Here’s my reasoning for toggle rather than disabling it whatsoever:
However, once you do know about claims and griefing, you still might want to build in unclaimed area. Think replanting NPC farms. Or planting saplings. Or maybe even building some cool bunkers for other players, but not wasting claim blocks. Hell, maybe putting a makeshift bridge across a ravine… so an advanced player will still get spammed, while they are perfectly aware of the consequences.
And if you feel like it, maybe even a permission node to bypass the warning? Pretty please! :3
is there a way to disable PvP in protected areas except for when sieges are happening? Right now, even during siege people are unable to PvP
@Tux2
Ok, thanks for your responses to this. :-)
What's a good way to disable /trapped? It sucks for pvp servers.
Best plugin etc etc +rep and so on.
One problem though, some of my users lost their claims in overworld without inactivity. (at least 2 users which i'm certain, they lost their earned claim blocks as well, starting again at 300. Nether is enabled, but griefprevention disabled in the nether. What could be the reason for this to happen?
Still no claims in creative mode beeing restored back to nature when unclaimed?
Can this be fixed?
Putting claims inside of claims LOLOLOL :) Love this plugin
What shall i do about this? its the newest gp beta 7.6.3-beta for 1.5.0 Mar 18, 2013 Its probably a table cell adjustment, but i can't see what to increase og so?
This server is running CraftBukkit version git-Bukkit-1.5.1-R0.1-7-ge80e64d-b2741jnks (MC: 1.5.1) (Implementing API version 1.5.1-R0.2-SNAPSHOT)

If it can't be fixed now, i will have to go version back again. We are loosing our claims.
This happens before a server crash.
Task #12 for GriefPrevention v7.6.2 generated an exception
I just need to know what task 12 is so maybe I can stop it.
Thanks!
@Tux2:
I hope you are not listening too much to users that are very aggressive and very impolite on these comments. They don't realize how much work your putting into this and how complex it is to make a plugin that responds to it's original goal and responds to everyone's wishes.
Your doing a great job. Don't pay too much attention to them.
Keep up the good work. Cheers! :)
@Tux2
everything seems to be ok on #2738
is there a way to stop worldedit from overriding claims?
Some people on my server complain that items are dissapearing out of their chest, any idea why? They have nobody trusted.
To all users! I've released version 7.7 of the plugin! If you don't want to wait for bukkit to approve the file you can always download build 22 on the jenkins!

@Simo389
I just tried this on a test server with just grief prevention and nothing happened. Remove WorldGuard!
Also, if you're trapped in your own claim... well... just use /home
@weggaz
1. I can loosen the restrictions a bit using a config setting for the creative mode 2. I can add a config option for that
@xsonarx
Thank you for fixing that link :) now jenkins works :)
