GravatarServerIcon
Overview
GravatarServerIcon is a plugin that allows you to upload your image to Gravatar and then your server will use this image for it's server icon. No reloading, no rebooting, no messing with FTP, no hassle.
Configuration
Configuration is simple. EMAIL is your primary email for Gravatar. SaveAsFile is to whether or not to save a local copy of the image incase Gravatar is unreachable. (true - Yes save. false - No don't save. Case is important)
If you've used any version prior to version 3 (not including version 3) you will need to regenerate your configuration. The plugin folder has also changed from "GravatarIcon" to "GravatarServerIcon" as to match the plugins Bukkit name. Should help eliminate some confusion.
Permissions
The only permission require is "GravatarServerIcon.use" this allows players to use the updateImage command.
Commands
Only one command exists, and that's the updateImage command. This command will pull the latest image from Gravatar and set it as your server icon, it really is that simple.
Notes
The nice thing about this plugin is your image doesn't need to be 64x64 when you upload it to Gravatar; however, this is recommended for best resolution. You should also be able to upload the file in any format. Finally, thank you for using GravatarServerIcon!
So where do you put the image?
Hi, i'd like to have a plugin that changes the gravatar randomly, i mean every 5 minutes choose another gravatar, (server-icon1, server-icon2...). Thanks!!!
Really fantastic idea. I can foresee this plugin becoming very popular as the word spreads.
Awesome job, Nateb!

Great ideas! The saving to a local directory should be easy.
I'll have to research the API's for the other picture sites to see how doable they are.
So easy to make, yet so original, good job! You shouldn't limit it just to gravatar, allow it to download the image from sites like imgur, and tinypic. Also, allow the server to download the image, then put it on a local directory, so it doesn't have to keep downloading the image on server reloads etc. And so that the plugin works offline as well.
