Give Anything Listener
Introduction
This is a plugin that works with Votifier 1.8 or higher, and as such should be placed inside the plugins folder NOT the listeners one.
This plugin listens to voting events passed from Votifier and allows you to reward players with anything when they vote for your server.
If you can type it as a command you can use it to in this plugin!
The Plugin works like a lot of the other listeners, but gives the user a detailed Configuration, on how to setup the broadcast message, and the colour / control codes they can use, Like {BOLD} etc...
This Plugin REQUIRES Votifier 1.8 or above!
When installing you must place the GAListener.jar into your /plugins folder.
It will then create a config.yml inside of the folder which you can edit to your liking! |
Configuration

Metrics
This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
You can disable the stat collection via /plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml if you wish.

Somehow when players vote they receive the reward they're supposed to, 1 emerald, 1 diamonds, 4 xp bottles - but non OP's also receive 5 bows and 20 obsidian 50% of the time when they vote. Can't find the issue. It's NOWHERE in the config.

Hi, I've spent the past week trying to get either this or other listeners working, from having previously worked with only the enjin votefordiamonds and votifier. I cannot get anything working, including this. Is there a conflict if the votefordiamonds is still set up on our website? I cannot see how there would be, though. Also, why does the /vote command not work in GAL, despite being configured to true? Is this plugin compatible with spigot 1.8? I chose it because I thought it was, but no votes are registering in the listener at all; they are, however, connecting fine in the server lists, including MC-Index. We are not getting our message or rewards; I have tried resetting the rsa, and given a heap of different ports; I'm exhausted by it, as it's such a cumbersome process to change each time. Please help! PS There is no other plugin we are using with the /vote command, so no conflict there. But all it shows it how many votes we have made (0 every time, despite votes registering successfully! This is MADDENING. Our setup on server lists is fine; our config in votifier is correct.)

Give them permissions based on that. E.g gal.factions and gal.creative. Factions would get the voters kit (/command to give kits) and for creative (/command for timed worldedit).
is there a way for me to make voting per-world Example: in factions when people vote they get Voters kit and in Creative, or plot world people get world edit for a timed period of time (i know how to make it timed)
How do i make rewards different per world
@H1DD3NxN1NJA
/gal reload
is there a reload command to reload the config
Please add columns for individial vote tracking with a timestamp. We would like to be able to throw data into excel, etc it's also nice to be able to use excel or a spreadsheet to get monthly, weekly, quarterly, annual voting stats. Right now, all it logs is number of votes... which doesn't really do much for working with rewards based on periodicals such as weeks, months, quarters...
Im in the process of setting up a new server, ive signed up on 7 different server lists today and so far only 3 of them actually give rewards. all 7 are setup the same way (ive triple checked and had a friend login and check)
I did notice on http://minecraft-server-list.com this message
If you have issues with Votifier not registering votes properly, please try and check your Listener config. Minecraft-server-list.com now registers as MCSL instead of Minecraft-server-list.com - I had to change this as it caused problems for some servers with the long string.
am i missing something on certain sites or it it something the author needs to address?
For the record, here are the ones that work/dont work. If anyone can let me know known working sites they use it would be greatly appreciated.
minecraft-mp.com - working www.minecraftserverfinder.com - working www.planetminecraft.com - working www.minecraft-index.com - broken minecraft-server-list.com - broken www.minecraftserverland.com - broken mcserverstatus.com - broken
Anyone randomly have the announcer not work properly and report %name% and %service%? It's pretty much hit or miss. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Is it just MCSL/etc.'s API or is it plugin related? Just kinda embarrassing when it doesn't work sometimes..
How would i show the top monthly voters?
Thanks for the listener, used it for awhile with no problems!
I am planning on making a small plugin to grab the players total votes and display them in the belowName scoreboard. Do you have any plans to do this?
Also it would be nice to be able to toggle the console log that prints the number of votes each time a player joins.
