Ermm, I cant use this plugin because it is missing GiantCore, and GiantCore is not on this URL: http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/giantcore/
Hey Thidox, haven't talked to you in a while. I hope all is well. I'm here today to report that quartz is giving me trouble in the shop. I am entering a ticket to keep your wall clean
@realB
I'm glad to hear your issue was solved! :)
@Thidox
Thank you very much, that makes things so much easier. I went and got
SQLite Database Browser and it was really easy to delete the broken entry. I really like your shop and everyone on WDZ loves it :)
@realB
GiantShop, and GiantShopLocation use a database to store 99% of the data involved. If you are using the default configuration you will find this file under:
"plugins/GiantShop/GiantShop.db"
By default, this will be a SQLite database, so you will need to use an editor capable of modifying SQLite... :) Modifying this file is safe, as long as you do not modify any format, or have GiantShop running.
Just started trying out GSL, but I accidentally created a shop with a blank name. I cannot select the shop, and I cannot remove it. Is there any way for me to remove it? I cannot find a config file or anything with this info stored in it, can I edit it externally somehow?
@Sanguynius
As soon as I have my GSWAPI ready. :) Shouldn't be too long, but on the flip side, the current build should still be working on the current version of bukkit!
Hey.
When will you update your plugin ?
Thanks !
@TheSixthOption
Currently, no, and I'm not sure whether I will implement this or not either...
Can you sell items that have NBT value? I'm making a RP server and I want to sell custom enchanted and named armor and weapons.
@bobbshields
Do note, that that's not the latest version atm. :P
I'll send you a pm with a neat thingy though :)
I might just take a sneak peak. I found you on github...
@bobbshields
Let me see if I can decode my own calculations! :D
(Also, you may want to wait with that php website until the release of 0.9, which includes a pretty cool new surprise... :P)
Another reason I was asking about the equation- I would like to make a php website that shows the current values of the shop items. I can't do that off the pure database values since we use inflation. Can you recommend something for me there?
@Thidox
Alrighty, on the amountTillMaxInflation, is that measured in Shop stack sizes or in individual items? My max stock for all items is 6400 (did an UPDATE on the mySQL DB) and we allow overstock. You think this would work pretty well? allowOverStock: true defaultMaxStock: 6400 stockDefinesCost: true maxInflation: 50 maxDeflation: 25 amountTillMaxInflation: 1024 amountTillMaxDeflation: 4800
@bobbshields
Yea, the calculations are slightly glitched, and subject to modifications. But it's not really that hard. "amountTillMaxInflation" and "amountTillMaxDeflation" are stock values, in other words, an item reaches it maximum inflation percentage (50%) in your config, when there are 10 or less items in the shop. Or it's maximum deflation percentage (25%) when there are 50 or more items in the shop.
There is one minor catch to this system though. If the maximum stock for the item is set to an amount lower then "amountTillMaxDeflation", the calculations will be based of that. This makes it possible that your prices seem to "jump" as steps increase/decrease by quite a massive amount.
Can someone explain the math behind the server prices? I really want to understand how the following values affect the server price vs the starting prices and inventory amounts.
maxInflation: 50
maxDeflation: 25
amountTillMaxInflation: 10
amountTillMaxDeflation: 50
I'm having some bad skewing of prices, that's why i'm looking for the help.
@MrCool1845
No, as the plugin description already said, this is a global shop, using global commands. There is no use of signs at all...
Is this a plugin where the item is on display with a sign? Or just a sign?
@xXSshadowXx
Great to hear! :) I suspect the Items.yml needed a minor update though...
Also, it is a bit of a shame, but I don't have a lot of time to work on GiantShop anymore lately... Hence the overall lack of updates. :(
