- Latest dev build * **
* Use at your own risk! Stability is not guaranteed!
** It might be wise to disable the "GiantShopWeb" API if you run 0.9.DEV as it is not finished!

@Thidox
It is 1.4 compat. We have been running it on 1.4 for a while.
@PCGeek971
It should be 1.4 compatible I think, though I haven't had time to test it yet.
Will this be updated to 1.4?
@Techtony96
I'll consider, but could you do me a favor and file an "enhancement" ticket with your suggestion? This allows me to keep better track of feature requests, which in turn allows me to work through them faster! :D
Can you add a command to import essentials worth.yml file prices?
@firefwing24
Actually it is MEANT to be read as the latter :D
I know this is really immature. But I'm saying it anyways
SuperPerm - SPerm Sperm
The Maturity level of this account has just reached -100
@psyprog
Or you could make a plugin that hooks into my API and simply reset the item stock back to 0! :D
Hey, guys! You can add MySQL query like this
to your favorite job scheduler and allow your players unload all those mob's drops on interval basis without overstocking.
Just sharing idea.
@bluehasia
You are correct on not being able to create a forum thread. The reason for this is that I do not receive notifications on new forum posts :(
Also could you use "/shop export -t:items" to create the price list? This way, users could then simply do ""/shop import -t:items" to start using the price list! :)
Do note that import and export are console only commands!
Edit:
I have decided to re open the forums, but please do not use them to request support from me as I do not receive notifications on new forum posts! :(
am i blind or are we not able to create a forum thread?
i was wanting to start a lets share are price lists
and if we do what would be the best format to export as? i did ymal from mysql database
http://pastebin.com/s2BgGD0Z
thats almsot every item in game minus tools, armor, weapons, and potions. but plan to add them next
@bobbshields
I missed your second thingy in your last message O_o
But I would appreciate it if you did so! Might help starting GiantShop users to get their shops set up faster! :)
@bobbshields
You can indeed do it directly from MySQL as well the only thing you would need to do in that case is reload your server for changes to take effect!
Edit:
That should of course have said: Changes to discounts and shops will require a reload for them to get into effect. For the normal items it shouldn't be required! :)
@Thidox
That worked! Thanks so much! Two quick questions as follow up: I've been doing the import export commands from the CLI. Can I instead edit directly from the mySQL backend or is there a reason not to?
Second: would you like me to post a reasonable items.csv to post as a suggested default?
Again, thanks a million!
@bobbshields
Simply add single quotes ( ' ) around the password, that will make yml see it as a string! And it should then work! :)
The reason why it now thinks the config is out of date, would be because it can't load the config in, which causes it to be unable to read the GiantShop.global.version node, which controls the file version.
@Thidox
ah yes it does, prolly should have checked that. our db password has !'s in it and it doesn't like them, says the conf.yml is out of date, copied default file after throwing a "undefined tag handle"
Can I quote the password somehow or do I need to change the password?
@bobbshields
That's interesting... :S Does it throw any errors before overwriting the file with default?
@Thidox
Thanks! I dunno how I missed that section, I've looked over that page a few times. Sadly, I still need some help. It keeps overwriting the file with a default config. Here is the copied config before my last start up: http://pastebin.com/Uiyk61pc
It is running the newest version available on here.
@bobbshields
This page should cover most of the current configuration file! :)
There is indeed MySQL support, to use this please refer to the database section of the conf.yml! :)
Hi! Cool plugin!!!
Is there mySQL support? I've been searching and looking through old pages, and seeing things that don't match the current config file.
