GeometricMagic
Geometric Magic
GeometricMagic adds the functionality of Geometric Magic, like that shown in Fullmetal Alchemist and more. Through redstone designs on the ground, one can do wondrous things such as teleport, transmute blocks, and build grand sculptures with little to no effort.
Features, Commands and Permissions
Features
- Teleportation (works better if the player actually puts time into calculating where they want to end up)
- Transmutation (change blocks of one type into another, with future energy costs)
- Transformation (build a tiny version of your masterpiece, draw the transformation circle around it, and watch it be magnified to enormous proportions)
- Set-Circles (circles with a specific purpose which can be activated remotely through Alkahestry)
- Philosopher's Stone (an item that will magnify your alchemical power, the construction of which comes with a terrible price)
Commands and Permissions
There are permissions now! Check them out http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/geometric-magic/pages/permissions/[here! This plugin is meant to remain commandless, utilizing just the redstone drawings.

Future Plans
- More circles with varying effects
- Video explaining the workings of this mod
- Integration with permissions
- Some kind of worldGuard or anti-grief plugin compatibility
- Probably some more stuff that I am forgetting...
Feature Requests
There's a forum for that too, so try to keep it out of the main page comments.
@Hoot215
Awesome, thanks for letting me know :)
@brian12102
This plugin supports SuperPerms (which inclues BPermissions), however the permissions are currently somewhat broken. They'll probably (and hopefully) be fixed soon.
this is a great plugin. but i was wondering can you make it work with bpermissions please.
we would love to have it on my server but we cant keep it to a specific group. the reason we want to do this is to keep people from leveling mountains. i hope this is possible because it would be a shame not to be able to use such a fantastic plugin
DO you have an eta for when you will be updating to CB - R4? :)
Really love this mod, I think it's a great and fun plugin to have on a server :3. However, I did notice that the levels can be used to enchant swords and the likes of that. Is it possible that a config could be created for this? I.e. to separate the levels from the Exp of the player, or to set a multiplier for levels used up/gained for transmuting?
Added source of plugin via github!
The permissions bug has been fixed in version 2.13, hopefully...

Thanks anyway. I hadn't considered this until now because I thought it could be resolved quickly. I'll post there as soon as I get the chance.
@Hoot215
Well that's all I got. Lol have you considered posting in the bugs forum?
<<reply 530142="">>
Yes. v2.12.
@Hoot215
Do you have the newest version of the mod?
<<reply 529724="">>
Yep. I've tried everything, giving them circle.* and even the individual nodes. As I said before, even when I CHECK if they have the nodes manually (With /permissions check [node] [player]), it will return true. Yet it still doesn't work.
@Hoot215
And you made sure they have permissions for ALL the set circles?
<<reply 528711="">>
They tried to, but they can't even use circle 2224 to spawn the enderman in the first place.
@Hoot215
And they've all remembered to learn the circles first using a homunculus (enderman)?
My users don't seem to able to use set circles. I've made sure that they have the permission circle.*, and they can use all the other circles, but they can't use set circles ("You do not have permission to use this circle"). Also, I've double checked that my users have the permission circle.set.2224 (Using /permissions check <node> <player>), and they definitely do, but it still doesn't work. However, I, the server owner, can use all the circles fine.
@Hoot215
Bad idea for villagers, as you can spawn them then reap them for souls. Alchemy was never about creating people, but maybe homunculus animals
Feature Request: I think it would be cool if you added set circles to spawn animals and villagers, seeing as they don't spawn naturally in generated chunks anymore. Also, this plugin is awesome :D
