This is a remake of the Hive Fun Cannon with some cool extra features!
Installation
- Download the jar file and put it in your plugins folder.
- Restart/Reload your server.
- Enjoy the epicness of FunCannon!
How to use FunCannon ?
Since v1.6.1-SNAPSHOT you're able to create FunCannon modes! Take a look.
It's very simple: The plugin gives you the FunCannon item on all enabled worlds. If you have permission to use it you can shoot particles and sounds when you right click it. If you want to know how many times you've used the FunCannon just type "/funcannon stats". It will be saved in the Plugin config how many times you've used it. If you shoot a player he becomes invisible for you a few seconds.
Finally you can edit the messages in the messages.yml. You need at least FunCannon v1.4!

- Editable Item (Lore (done), Name (done), ID (done))
- Only available in given worlds (done)
- Editable Sounds (done)
- Editable Effects (done)
- Editable Messages (done)
- Editable offset, speed and amount of the particles (done)
- Creating of different types of the FunCannon (done)
- Give money for hitting a player. (in work)
- Give me more ideas, i'll try to work it out!

I've coded right now a version which includes editable Effects, it's not now working like i want it to work, but i think i can finish it tomorrow.

Well I am always happy to offer criticism and ideas for you, and help with motivation. I do understand the time issues, I have that myself. I am glad you made this plugin though!

No you're not acting like a pain, lol. I like to hear criticism and I have planned to bring out these Features, but It's not the difficulty that makes me slowly. To add these Features I need lots of time and sometimes I don't have enough motivation to carry on.
Today I'm going to try to start with coding on these Additions. I cant promise :)

Love the new changes and things seem to be working perfectly! I know I may be acting like a pain, but just three last things (in theory lol).
1) Can you make it so that we can add multiple sounds to the projectile like a list of sounds or something instead of just one specific sound?
2) Can you make it so that the projectile effects can be altered or added to? We were thinking maybe having effects that we can set for certain holidays, and that would be great if we could configure several effects via the config.
3) Can we please be able to customize the cooldown message?

The new updates are perfect, and just what I was looking for. Just one minor issue. You replaced the cat sound with the dog bark. I was looking to replace the food eating sound, not the cat. Could it be possible to get the cat when you fire, and then the cat and the dog sound where the effects land? Also, is there a reload command for this plugin?
EDIT: There is also one last minute thing we were thinking of. A possibility to edit/change what effects are shown where the snowball hits. Maybe do it by a list of some sort?
EDIT 2: idk, but suddenly the plugin has stopped giving me the cannon completely. It wa working perfectly and then ever since I did /clear on my inventory, I haven't been able to get the cannon back at all.

I think i can try to add these features. I'll do it right now and maybe in 2 houres you'll see another update
So I have started using this plugin on my server. We love it!! There are only two changes I would love to see though.
1) A way to adjust the cooldown rate ourselves (10 sec is way to long). 2) Can we change the eating sound to a dog bark??? I think that would be a lot better.
Beyond those two things, I think this is perfect. Maybe add some other particles too, but not really needed. Can we get these done at all??
EDIT: Another thought I have come up with is setting which world(s) it is active in (and only for those worlds), and give them the cannon when they enter that world instead of on join each time. Would work very well for multiverse and such.
