FAQ
Want to stop users saying no to downloading your texture pack?
Fear no more, This plugin provides a Texture Pack Download Server. If the Client Refuses to download from the server and tries to do something, They will be instantly kicked!
Want to stop x-ray texture packs?
The perfect solution is forcing them to use your texture pack!
Will this work on the spot?
Nope! You need to install the texture pack to the texturepack.zip in your server folder (Where your Bukkit.jar is!) You will also need to port forward 5000 so that your texture pack can be accessed by other players (Unless It's a LAN server!)
Is there a config file?
Not at this point in time, We are looking for configurable options. If you have a suggestion drop me one!
My minecraft host doesn't allow me to port forward 5000
We are looking into a alternative (Won't be as efficient)
Do i need to set a texturepack= in my server.properties?
Nope! Our plugin automatically does the hard work!
Will this stop bots?
Not at the current point in time, It only stops movement.
Will this stop hacked clients?
This plugin will only prevent other texture packs on login.
Will this work on high capacity servers?
This will work on any server (Providing your server can hold up to it!), We have a special system to queue requests if it becomes overloaded!
Do i need Spout etc?
Nope! This plugin works perfectly in vanilla
How does it work?

Posted Apr 1, 2016I wouldn't say that the plugin is inactive. I have had a lot in my life going on. There just is not point to continue the plugin. Sorry. Bukkit had, and always will have, a special place in my heart. It is with deep sadness, that I say I probably won't update any of my plugins. I haven't touched Minecraft or Bukkit in a year. Thanks for the laughs and great summers! Farewell my fellow Bukkiteers and friends!

Posted Mar 5, 2015Ok, because I think this plugin is abandoned I looked at how it worked (http://web.archive.org/web/20130710082158/http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/force-texture/) and decided I should post it here:
When the plugin is installed a server is started on port 5000 on a Thread, When you get sent a texture pack on login you send a request to the server and it reads your username. This is then securely marked and you are allowed to move.

I have decided that under the fact that this is outdated, and near finished, I am releasing the source code.
Who ever wants the source code for this amazing project, PM me. I have fixed 98% of this plugin, there is only one part, which I hope you brilliant people can solve. All I need is a reason why, and you to give credit to MylesC and I, and I will send you the source code.

Greetings Friend, First off, what language do you speak? For now, I can not take plugin error reports. I am currently updating the plugin. It was very difficult to update. I expect there to be bugs in my newest release, but It should be a lot better than you are currently experiencing. Sorry to hear things are not working. Keep checking the project, and I will have a new release out soon enough. You need 1.7.9 for the new update.

Both "You Are Required to Use Our Texture Pack before playing!" was disconnected.
I all conditions the Succeed. But one thing that was not successful. That is right port. Inability to understand. that I had difficulties.
I don't know. I complex.

Hey guys, My computer has been bluescreening on and off this week. It seems to be doing better. I am a little behind on the newest build. I should be able to make it by the end of the month. Posted Jun 19, 2014could you somehow make it so it forces different Resource packs for different worlds in multi-verse. so you can have the default texture pack for one world, but for another use a different texture packs so different worlds can have different texture packs?

Not update update, but... As of June 15, 2014 @ 11:46 P.M. CST I have compiled my first successful build, inwhich my code, and the old code, worked in harmony. I almost have a finished product! I just need a few tweaks here and there, and we should be good to go!
