Changelog

New Features & Flags

  • Added support for upcoming Factoid cuboid system
  • Added Doorbell flag to Border Patrol module. Plays a tone for owners when a player enters the area.
  • Added a Flag Query tool (defaults to Feather, configurable). Right clicking with this tool is the same as the /flag get command except it auto-detects between area and world.
  • Flag Help improvements
-Flag topics are now limited to 50 characters (just like CraftBukkit).
-You can now view the full flag description by using /flag help [FlagName]
  • After careful consideration of the recorded metrics and potential pitfalls I've decided to remove auto-downloading of updates. You may still have Flags check for new updates and report them, but I would prefer you come here to BukkitDev and read the patch notes.
  • No longer supports importing from GriefPreventionFlags. Use 1.4.0 to import before upgrading.
  • Updates Grief Prevention 7.8 support to the latest beta, no longer supports previous 7.8 beta versions.

API Changes To the best of my knowledge, the following changes will not break existing plugins.

  • System class has been deprecated and replaced by CuboidType Class to avoid import conflict with java.lang.System.
  • World class has been deprecated and replaced by Wilderness Class to avoid import conflict with org.bukkit.World. (No change to end user commands at this time)
  • Reverted PlayerChangedAreaEvent to call whenever a player crosses any area for the active system.
  • Adds PlayerChangedUniqueAreaEvent (extends PlayerChangedAreaEvent) which is called only when a player crosses the border into a non-inherited area.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixes several MySQL issues.
  • Recompiled modules against their earliest possible version 1.5.2 or later. Fixes backward compatibility issues caused by 1.7.2 signature changes. (will still work fine with 1.7.2 due to Bukkit backward compatibility).

Due to changes in GriefPrevention 7.8 in the way subclaim ID's are handled and ID numbers changing for sub-claims, there is the possibility that this version may "lose track" of flags in the database for subdivisions after upgrading.  This is an unfortunate side effect of using a beta.  You may have to reconfigure the flags in the subdivisions.
