I really love this plugin!
Great job, Death_marine!
Thanks for such a great implementation. Best use of the API by far!
I love FishChecker :)
@Derjyn Minebans is a global banning plugin.
This plugin checks a players name against a database compiled of every global banning system. No banning system involved strictly information.
Speaking of "differences", what is the difference between this and Minebans?
@Adondriel
I would but I meant for this to be a small standalone system. I have these sort of functions in Ultrabans. What I'd like to do is incorporate this into http://www.fishbans.com/stats/ when fish gets done with it. For you to track usage per server.
I'm just going to say that this is quite a bit smaller and lightweight than that. With less commands. Both will get the job done though.
Also what is the difference, between this and banannoucer?
@Death_marine
thank you
I have another idea :D Incorporate IPcompare (plugin) into this and scan them on login aswell, if they have the same IP, or use mcbans alts or something. so that i can tell if their alts have bans aswell!
@Adondriel
The login check shows the 5 services amounts but bcbans and minebans do not have a api to pull information from so you can only pull actual information for the 3 of the servers.
http://fishbans.com/ explains this in more detail.
As for the alias command. I can throw that in there.
I have another idea! add /fc as a shortcut command!
@Death_marine
in the next update? cause it only seems to show 3, when i do /fishcheck (name)
@Adondriel
It shows all 5 now for the login check.
Why does it only show 3? i want it to check all of them? I suggest a config file!
@JoeBl
No it will state the reasoning as well. Just if there is no info it'll just say 0. try /fishcheck notch to test. And yes it will tell you when the player logs in whether they have bans or not.
@Darrennick
Just installed this plugin, I login and do a /fishcheck <player> on myself and it comes up with:
By the looks of it, it'll just state the amounts, but it could change and give the reason I just don't know yet as there isn't much documentation for this plugin.
I have a question, if it checks users on join as it says, will it tell the op that a user has just joined who has previous bans or what?
Does it give ban info like griefing for say?
