FileManager
- User-friendly inventory based GUI
- Provides a wide array of utilities
- Comes with a built-in download manager
- Runs like a feather
- Plug & Play
Are you a server owner with a home-hosted server and you can't easily set up a FTP server to upload files to your server when away from home or simply want an alternative to a FTP server? Then, you've come to the right place.
FileManager was designed to allow server admins manage their server easily without FTP access (downloading, renaming, deleting files), it's easy to use and doesn't need to be configured (plug & play).
It uses two permissions to limit it's use:
- filemanager.browse (allows browsing)
- filemanager.write (allows creating or modifying files)
Some of it's functions include:
- Viewing text files in books
- Unpacking zip files
- Loading plugins
- Downloading files
- Creating folders
- Copying and pasting files
- Deleting files
- Renaming files
- Building schematics (WorldEdit required)
Use /filemanager, /fmang or /fm to open the GUI.
IMPORTANT: The plugin may not have permission to perform certain tasks on some hosts.
I can't use Download Manager. It will gets error when I put URL to it and download started.

Hi, thanks for this unique plugin!
A small feature request would be to add .log to the list of files you can open in a book.
Some other requests include editing files in-game (if that's even possible) and custom directory restrictions (i.e. I want my admins to be able to access certain folders in the plugins folder.)

It isn't really a bug, I intented it to be able to access any file, but I wasn't thinking about home-hosted servers (which can't limit browsing that easily), so I see what you're talking about, since I, myself have operated with a home-hosted server before, I'll push out an update that limits the browsing, thanks for the suggestion.
I do not recommend downloading this plugin at this time as it defaults to your server directory when doing /fm, but it can be navigated to ANY file or ANY folder on the host computer. This is especially important to people hosting servers on their home computers as any file can be downloaded, deleted, or renamed. Please note that this is an AMAZING file management tool that could be used in right circumstances. I am requesting that this plugin be updated to hot patch this. This is a warning as great damage almost occurred to my home hosted computer server. Thanks, and I hope no one else has any fatal problems with this bug.
