I respect your opinion but I highly disagree. I recently played a good bit with heroes so here is how I feel:
I played heroes and have to say that my plugin is extremely different from heroes. Does hero have party buffs? Yes. Does mine? Yes. Does heroes have a custom damage system where that party buff scales off of an attack stat, weapon type modifiers, custom enchantment strength modifiers, custom potion modifiers? No. Does mine? Yes. Things might look similar if you just read about them, but the overall feel is entirely different.
Heroes offers spouts which is huge! My plugin offers tons of server management features, dungeons, a crappy pvp arena (going to be less crappy next release though, lol) and other things. Both plugins offer a lot and it's pointless for me to list them off. However, we both offer extremely different things and they are implemented in a totally different way. I must respecfully say that calling FC_Rpg a "copy" of Heroes is in my honest opinion wrong, naive, and insulting to the 500+ hours of work I've put into creating this.
This is not to say anything negative about heroes. I think the plugin is great personally! My plugin just goes an entirely different route and offers a lot of different content.
edit: I just wanted to say this like this because I've been told in the past that my plugin is similar to heroes and I know that I just had to check it out to see the playing field that I am on with Heroes, aka, if I should worry about it being like "competition" if you will; I try not to think of plugins like that/. This is just more of my stance that I kind of what to have in the future in regards to people saying that Heroes and FC_Rpg are similar in the future, and it's not really so much directed at you but at anybody that is curious. :)
Well, I feel like this is a copy of Heroes. Although I like it how you don't have to pick which tools you want to use, over time you gain access to them. I am talking to the Co Owner right now we might be switching :)

My plugin already allows you to customize the group colors and name prefixes. I understand the chat isn't customizable "enough" at the moment but it is still customizable to an extent. The groups "should" actually be imported over. However, the colors aren't. You have to set it all up in the Groups.yml config file for colors that you want. The colors are picked at random by default, that's just how I set it up. Feel free to edit them as you please.
I'll look into it and attempt to improve it but from what I'm reading it seems like you guys just aren't setting up the colors in the Groups.yml config file. If I'm reading that wrong feel free to correct me.

Very good point. I honestly loved the way the FC chat plugin looked, but I hated that it didn't bring over the PermissionsEx groups, group colours, and nicknames properly.
Highly suggest looking into this Destro.
If you'd like, I have about 11 groups made i think. I can show you what it looks like before and after the plugin overrides the chat on my server.
Might give you a good reference point man.
Oh, and ticket made on the exception. I originally thought it was a ranged potion issue, but it looks to be completely random.

I've got a nice list of todo that I've been going through. So many little things to change and fix. I've got every suggestion on it and have been methodically going down the list. The next version will either be 0.9 or 1.0. I'm adding so much I might just 0.9 lololol. No idea, oh well. Lots of bugfixes, lots of updates. Adding permissions to all the commands, full balance alteration in new balance config, and tons of goodies.
Oh! Forgot to mention Im getting exceptions when players throw ranged potions.
Just a heads up, Ill add a copy next time I see an exception comes thru the logs

Make sure that the mobs you are fighting are around your level. If you aren't getting exp/gold then it's due to them being out of range or possibly a configuration issue. Make a ticket please.

There was an issue that you mentioned before and another guy mentioned it about not being able to pick classes. I misinterpereted what you meant. I know signs are broken to pick class in the current version I'm sorry. I had literally fixed it like 10 seconds after I updated here, lol. It will be fixed in next version, sorry about that.

Yes I'm changing all the damage settings to be customizable in the next version so you can change the formulas to how you want for all damage and get a completely customizable damage system.
Ah, I was wondering why I could act like superman close to the level one area.

All damage increases as you go further away from the level one coordinate. Trust me, falling damage gets to be quite brutal after you go out far .
Oh, another thing of note is that falling damage is almost nothing now.
Didnt know if this was meant to be this way or not.
Good news, I'm back from break and ready to tackle problems again. Sorry that I had to let things pile up but I really didn't have any choice, I had no computer access accept that one night where I got to respond. I'm going to keep working on my plugin and get a release soonish. There are definitely a lot of comments that have given me good suggestions/advice and I'll be responding to them soon. I can't start tonight because I'm busy but in 1-2 days I can.
Hello I was wondering if this plugin is compatible with citizens and its various sub-projects denizens sentry, etc.
Initial testing showed it didn't create player configs for the NPCs which is the issue with other RPG plugins so that's positive however i get a "could not pass entitydamagebyenityevent to FC_Rpg" error when an NPC is attacking a player or a mob.
Thank you for your work on this plugin it will hopefully be on my server on our next major update if i can get it and citizens playing nicely with each other.
I only seem to find level 17 + mobs in the wilderness, and killing doesn't level up my character at all. Any reason for that?

I know players can't change classes it's bugfixed on the version on my computer but I don't have access to my plugin developing computer (vacation) atm so i can't put any bugfix versions up or anything. I plan to add permissions as well I saw somebody ask way down also. sorry about that

if /rpg isn't working for everybody then check for console errors because it should work for all.
