Fast survival (includes moon world generator)
Overview
This plugin makes the game faster on its repeating tasks such as mining or killing wither skeletons but makes it more challenging by adding new types of mobs and additional dimensions. There are also new types of bows and skeletons have a chance of wearing those bows. It also adds a Minecraft moon dimension!
Updated for 1.20.4!!!

Features
Configuration
Lots of additional configuration settings are coming in the yaml file!
Automatic Tools
The tools that have an enhanced automatic effect, are the following ones:
- Pickaxe (Intelligent tunneling and area breaking, torch placement)
- Shovel/Spade (Same as pickaxe but for the materials which are broken with it, torch placement)
- Axe (Cuts trees instantly)
Recipe mode can be enabled in config with AutomaticToolsRequireRedstone=true:
tool + (1)redstone (For all the tools, the additionally broken blocks are also counted on the tool damage value) The goal of these automatic tools is to reduce the time you have to stay mining while making easier to keep your mine in order and focusing the game on the adventure which is what is really fun. By default, all tools are automatic, but this can be toggled in the settings.
Advanced bows
Minecraft has some types(tiers by material) of swords and tools in general. But what about bows? There is only 1 bow available to craft in vanilla Minecraft and even if you have stacks of diamond, you still have to wear the normal one which you crafted at the starting of the game. Later I'll detail how each bow works but for now I think only by looking at the crafting recipes and by trying it, you can find out how each bow works. Use /b command to get all bows in creative mode. Recipes: here
Recall
Link it to an emerald block with right click Recipe here
Additional mobs
All the above points were making the life easier, but if the game gets too easy it is pointless. Let's add some mobs to make the game more challenging and interesting. First, you have to know that with a server-side mod (such as a plugin) you can't do many things such as creating new entity types and not even re-texturing the ones that already exist. You can make mobs sit on top of other, wear equipment (armor and item in hand), apply potion effects and make them have some special abilities coded manually (maybe also playing some default effects). List of tweaks:
- Chance of skeletons having advanced bows (each bow type has its armor set to be remembered), and each one has some special drops.
- Increased chance of spider jockey
- Jockeys now have speed I or II (50%) and the skeleton can use an advanced bow
- Zombie changes:
- They have (30%) chance of food poisoning its target on hit if they don't have the maximum health
- If you attack them with your hand, you get (70%) food poisoned if they don't have the maximum health
- They have a chance of getting a stick in hand which knocks you up in the air 2-5 blocks on hit
- They have a chance of wearing a wooden sword + chain chestplate and speed I
- They can wear (4%) a diamond chesplate and a diamond sword
- 15% of creeper being charged and getting speed II
- Enderman applies 5%-15% InventorySteal (they throw in the floor the things stolen)
- Pigs are worth a piece of redstone dust as a blood drop (to start faster with automatic tools) (a wire in the ground)
- Pigmen drop x2.5 exp and drop more (x1.4) gold, now are worth to kill.
- Increased wither skull drop rate now it is 10% + the vanilla one
Additional structures in the overworld
- Pile of logs with rails
- Hot air balloon: Adds a first-in-class air structure to minecraft, with a chance of great rewards
- Graveyard
- Underground nether cages
- King skeleton tree
- Other
- More coming soon!
Send me cool screenshots of them!
The moon
The moon has its own section here
To access it, use /moon or a moon teleporter in survival
The sky
The sky is accessible using /sky in creative mode.
Additional dimensions
There are many additional dimensions on the world to take the game out of having only both overworld and the nether and going to the end to end the game. Read the detailed pages, some are necessary for your best gameplay experience.
- The moon [<- SEE DETAILS] Accessible using /moon and with a teleporter
- The sky /sky (available but not finished, the portal will be obtainable in survival in a future version)

Multilanguage support. Just select your language on the settings. I have created 3 .txt files (EN (English), CAT (Catalan), ES (Spanish)). Select one of this or create your own one! [Default: EN]. Non translated text will appear as an identifier. For now use an older version zip to get the language files (use with the latest jar). I will add the language files properly sometime in the future.

Looks similar to the crash I reported in issues a few days ago. The structure generation in this plugin isn't compatible with newer versions of the game, which makes it unusable for now.
In reply to pxmpkinspice_x:
This error has been addressed in the latest release. Thanks for reporting!
Can you kindly please make a config file, there are some features i'd like to disable, such as the creeper leaving lingering potion of speed that is infinite.
Also whats with the 0 that appears in the chat?
In reply to xpixelcookiex:
I'll add this to my todo. There is a configuration file which is where the 0 is coming from. You can set a join message for everyone there. It just happens to be a 0 by default. The use for that is to put a link to this page so users can know how to build the moon portal and how to use the additional featrues the plugin offers.
Thanks for making this mod, and I appreciate what documentation there is. Just wanted to note a few things for enchantment if you're still working on this.
-Water Bow (no recipe enable?/ not available)
-Glass bubble(not equip-able)
-Multi Shot Bow(no recipe enable?/ not available)
-Automatic Shovel(no recipe enable?/ not available)
-Wither Bow(no recipe enable?/ not available)
-Translations for Recall (not available)
-No death on moon without Equipment(not sure if this would be in a config file)
-Moon Teleport is really glitchy, there's like a z axis displacement on the teleporter after use
I was able to build the turret arrows but I'm not really sure what all that is about as it's not really mentioned above.
In reply to tyolico:
I am going to look into this issues.
For the bow recipes, I will review them and hopefully make them all work. It's true that the automatic shovel does not work because of a change in item names. It will be fixed in the next version.
The glass bubble is not equipable. My original intention was for it to be and to be required to breathe on the moon. I will try to implement this again in the future.
Translations for Recall: I will add them.
No death on moon without Equipment: what do you mean by that? When you are not equiped you should not die?
Moon Teleport is really glitchy: I will look into this.
The turrets are a beta feature. I have a documentation page for them but I removed the link from the front page because I don't consider them ready for use. I you want to read it its here.
Stay tuned because the next update is going to be big, with the introduction of the Sky dimension and the sky portal!
In reply to bielsimon:
`I was under the impression that you need to have the glass bubble to stay alive on the moon, if not disregard. The Skeletons do spawn with the other bows I couldn't craft. I think it may just be the recipes for them that's the issue. Thanks!
In reply to tyolico:
Yes, that was the way I was planning it to be, but I still have to implement it. For the bows, in the meantime you can use the /b command in creative mode to get all special bows in your inventory so you can try them.
I guess the author has abandon this plugin. Although the Author did update the files to 1.15, 4 days ago, the author has not posted on this in over a year and has refused to show proper documentation on building his portal to get to the moon. As far as other servers running this plugin; I just don't see it. The server the author listed and the one that wast posted by a supposing member are both dead. This Author is just wanting you paste his structures all over your world so he can get his rocks off at messing up another server because he is to stupid to write a fully working plugin. Heck, he is so stupid that he can't even tell you how to build a working portal that he supposedly wrote himself.
- Documentation is unworthy of a programmer.
- Plugin is broken for all 1.13 - 1.15 servers Bukkit, Spigot, Paper, Taco and Waterfall. Even for multi- servers running BungeeCord ; believe me, I just spent 3 days testing it on the above 4 servers in Localhost and networked thru BungeeCord and all versions failed.
Don't use this Plugin, it is not worth the hassle of everything you'll have to fix afterward.
In reply to PhantumOne:
I understand your concerns. The documentation is indeed bad at the moment, I made it at a time when I had little idea of what I was doing. I plan to update it soon. As for having abandoned the plugin... Well I did abandon it for a while but now I am back to it. So expect it to get better over time from now.
I am open to more specific questions such as "I don't understand how to build a portal to the moon" or similar. You can also contact me directly on [email protected] if you want me to help you to integrate the plugin in your server in a certain way.
I like to receive all kinds of feedback but next time, please, be constructive.
In reply to bielsimon:
You showed pictures of the portals under your screen shots but even though I built them as shown, I get the message that I have 0 of 928 power.
Can you explain how I add the power to the portal?
Is there a chest that is linked where I drop the items that give power to the portal?
Does the portal draw its power from the total number of blocks used to make the portal?
Is there a configuration to limit the Skeleton Trees and Balloons in the world or region?
If I make a portal like you show in your screenshots, do I have to be holding something in my hand to power it when I click the stone button?
I like the Boss in the Skeleton Tree; great job and the tree as a home reward is even better; is it possible to make the tree out of the same material as the surrounding biome and contain a different boss for each biome?
The balloons are Ok; but if you could add random color to them like the terracotta or other wool colors or mixture there of than just white?
I hope this is more constructive and I like where you are going with this plugin, but I tried everything I could think of for over two hours not including trying to find others who commented, made a Youtube video or forum post until I was blue in the face and still no solution on making the portal function.
Thanks
In reply to PhantumOne:
In versions 3.6 and 3.7 I've fixed a lot of issues that appeared after updating the plugin to the new APIs (1.13-1.15). Due to the changes in APIs and Material names and the way colors are handled:
All of this issues are now fixed in 3.7 and will continue to mix more issues as I find them. Actually getting the plugin to work with the new API was such a challenge that when I finally got it to work I may have rushed a bit to publish without testing every single feature.
I will update the documentation to better answer your questions. However, since most of them are related to portals and they are now actually working, try to make the portal again and report back. Sorry for the inconvenience!
In reply to bielsimon:
Great, thanks for the different colored balloons, look real good and I noticed the amount of generated balloons seems less than before. Did you adjust that as well?
Also, I built the portal using 31 Iron blocks, 1 Redstone block, 1 Glass block, 2 Wood buttons and 1 Stone button and when I click on the stone button I get this message:
D_MOON_TELEPORTER_ENRGY:(-5.0/940.0) -1%
I then created the other portal using 16 Iron blocks, 4 Diamond blocks, 8 Wooden buttons and 1 Stone button and when I clicked the Stone button I get this message:
D_MOON_TELEPORTER_ENRGY:(-5,0/940.0) -1%
Both results are the same.
How do I get the Energy to 940?
Also a entity spawned next to me while I was testing the portal and the server posted this:
[10:47:55] [Server thread/WARN]: [FastSurvival] Task #60877 for FastSurvival v3.7 generated an exceptionjava.lang.NullPointerException: null at com.biel.FastSurvival.Utils.Utils.getNearbyEnemies(Utils.java:420) ~[?:?] at com.biel.FastSurvival.Bows.CustomBowsListener$1.run(CustomBowsListener.java:224) ~[?:?] at org.bukkit.craftbukkit.v1_15_R1.scheduler.CraftTask.run(CraftTask.java:84) ~[patched_1.15.1.jar:git-Paper-25] at org.bukkit.craftbukkit.v1_15_R1.scheduler.CraftScheduler.mainThreadHeartbeat(CraftScheduler.java:452) ~[patched_1.15.1.jar:git-Paper-25] at net.minecraft.server.v1_15_R1.MinecraftServer.b(MinecraftServer.java:1179) ~[patched_1.15.1.jar:git-Paper-25] at net.minecraft.server.v1_15_R1.DedicatedServer.b(DedicatedServer.java:417) ~[patched_1.15.1.jar:git-Paper-25] at net.minecraft.server.v1_15_R1.MinecraftServer.a(MinecraftServer.java:1106) ~[patched_1.15.1.jar:git-Paper-25] at net.minecraft.server.v1_15_R1.MinecraftServer.run(MinecraftServer.java:933) ~[patched_1.15.1.jar:git-Paper-25] at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source) [?:1.8.0_221]
In reply to PhantumOne:
I have posted 3.8 (in might take a while to be processed by bukkit dev) which should solve all of your issues. Please try with 3.8 and let me know. Also, no the density of balloons should not have changed.
In reply to bielsimon:
I do not have the Namespacekey messages and all recipes are loading without warnings.
Both Teleports give the same message "D_MOON_TELEPORTER_ENRGY:(0.0/940.0) 0%" and I still need to figure out how to power it.
I still get this warning engaging entities (see below). Not sure if it is the Bow or the Bow Effects after killing the entity. but it only happens one time as far as I can see. Killed more entities Skeletons, Spiders and Zombies and the warning did not repeat.
Logged out rebooted server and logged back in. Warning happened again but only once during or after combat when picking up items, confusing... I reloaded the Server again and logged back in with both the game and server console side by side.
When I killed a Skeleton that was holding an Electric Bow, The warning was posted to the Console. Also when the bow lands in water after killing the Skeleton, Lighting constantly strikes the area and blocks fall from the sky. Is that suppose to happen? I could have been shot by another entity using an Electric Bow and that would probably be why, I will check it out to see if I can kill another entity with the same Bow and see if messages repeat in console.
I went to a mine to find a bunch of skeletons and was able to get the message again but I only got these types of bows to drop (Teleport, Magnetic and Water) will keep searching and testing to narrow it down but it is just not the Electric Bow causing the message.
I killed a stack of Skeletons in the mine and I got both bow types (Electric and Teleport) were dropped at the same time and I got two messages just like the one below. The Bow named Electric and the Bow named Teleport are causing this message.
Message from Console after first entity dropping a Bow named Electric:

Just realized that the way I was detecting wooden buttons, only Oak Buttons were being detected. You can try it in FS 1.8 with oak buttons, making sure you use [8 iron blocks, 4 iron fences, 2 wooden buttons]
In FS 1.9:

Hope you are finally able to activate the moon portal!
In reply to bielsimon:
Yippee! got the moon portal to work and was able to get to the moon and back again, but then this shows up on the server console when porting to the Moon and when I port back to the overworld the portal is partially disassembled (stone button gone, Glass Block gone and one Iron block gone). I ported back to the moon after fixing the portal and within 30 seconds to a minute the server had over 120000 (1146 lines) characters of errors and the server did a auto shutdown that locked up the console and never completed the shutdown process. This error was unable to be posted due to it exceeding 30000 for this text box.
Here is the first 25 lines and last 33 lines of the Errors:

In reply to PhantumOne:
Okay. Although in my testings I have not been able to reproduce this (using paper), I may have found the possible cause and applied the fix which will be included in the next version (3.10). Even with the exceptions, the server is still usable and responsive right? If not, try deleting the Moon world and let it generate again.
Thanks for your feedback!
In reply to bielsimon:
Deleted Moon folder as directed. Started server and had no issues until I ported to the Moon.
I sent you an email with my log and comments. To big to fit in this text box.
A player logged in and here is what the server is showing:

Also, can you add a configuration to dissable the plugin in other worlds, my skyblock is getting distroyed everytime a skeleton uses the Bow named Electric. The blocks fly up into the air but fall into the void.
Thanks
I an running Paper 1.15 and I am getting this warning like 20 times and not over time but is one brief scroll right after the server loads.
Thanks.
