What is Factions?

With this plugin players group up in Factions. You claim land as your own and build your base. Factions is a self serve anti griefing system. Leaders control who can can edit their faction land.

Factions is also about diplomacy and war. You declare wars and forge alliances. You fight over land and manage your monetary expenses.

Install

Stop your server.
Put MassiveCore.jar in your plugins folder. Download MassiveCore here on BukkitDev.
Put Factions.jar in your plugins folder.
Start your server again.
Configure (Optional)

New In Factions 2.8

Reworked Commands - /f rank, /f invite, /f flag and /f perm.
Added Commands - /f setpower, /f status, /f unstuck and /f tt.
WorldGuard - Readded a simple integration.
Tab Completion - Tab completion now available for everything!
Interactive Text - Clickable buttons for list and help commands.
1.8 Titles - Optionally used for territory info.
Animals Flag - New flag similar to the Monsters flag.
Performance - Further work on improved performance.
Bug Fixes - Loads of minor bugs were fixed.

hey why cant i do things like /f claim 20 or /f perm or /f chest?

Does the 1.8.1 version work for 1.7.10? The current 1.7.10 version is quite outdated

how do i reset all the claims that i and others has made and how do i reset powerboosts

Please answer, this plugin looks great.

(I would appreciate if somebody could link me a list of all the commands available in this plugin :D)

So i am using your plugin but other players can't build in their own faction territory. And they can't even place things in the Wilderness. Can you pls fix this?

Alright so im trying to download faction version 1.8.2 because it is literally the best version adn factions 2.0 is trash but when i try to run factions 1.8.2 i get this message....... can somebody help me? Looking for a friend!! I realize that is says it is out of date i can read im just asking if there is any fix to this!!!

You need to either get an updated version of CraftBukkit or get a lower version of the plugin. Also you could ask Cayorian to make a better version of the plugin for your version. Those are your only options.

its same with claiming using safezone

I have problem.
Without Faction plugin chat looking like that:
[Admin] CresixU: test chat
But when plugin is "installed" chat is looking like that:
<[**TestFaction] CresixU>: test chat
What is wrong? I'm using EssentialsChat

Hi i have a question
I have my own server and i made a huge faction it s so big i cannot claim all of it
it says not enough power even tho my power is at 10/10 anyway to bypass or do something so i can claim all of the build

Yes! So each power point corresponds to one chunk of land. So you would need more power. However since it seems you are a server admin, I'd just do /f admin that will override it.

okay so im trying to run a modded factions server but for some reason the factions plugins is not working. i have both massive-core and factions.jar in my plugins the massive-core loads but the factions does not. Any one know why this might be

Hi I'm an owner of a server with factions on it the server is currently private and I noticed while testing faction commands the claiming requires money instead of power how would I go about changing it to a power based system instead of money.
