main/workarounds/No-Vanilla XP Patch
This patch is intended to remove the new default experience from ores and smelting in 1.3. Please select the correct patch depending on your current version of CraftBukkit:
Safe Method
It's now possible to remove this experience without having to patch CraftBukkit.jar. Simply ensure that you have the latest development build of CraftBukkit and install the following plugin:

Patches
These should not be used unless you're on an older version of CraftBukkit.

Extract the correct version and then follow the instructions in the README-file:
Quote:INSTALLATION
- MAKE A BACKUP OF ANYTHING YOU DON'T WANT TO LOSE.
- Completely shut down your server.
- Open the craftbukkit.jar (for 1.3) in WinRAR or 7zip.
- Copy Block.class and RecipesFurnace.class to net\minecraft\server
- Wait for it to finish.
- Start the server.
