This is a simple real estate plugin I have been working on. It's still in it's dev stage so I would be very happy if you guys make me aware of any errors or anything :) Thanks.

Prerequisites/Dependencies

Commands / Permissions
You can view a full list of commands and permissions here
How to use
- First, you need to select an area for the estate with /estatetool, This area needs to be a cuboid.
- Next, you need to create an Estate Sign, The lines need to be like this
- [Estate]
- Price for estate
- Estates owner name or [AdminPlot]
- The name for the estate
Now, The cuboid selected with WorldEdit is linked to that sign.
Someone with the estate.buy permission can oposite click the sign to buy the estate. Now, Only they can build on it =3

Hey, So I will add most of those things. Let me let you know about some stuff though. Right now, the owner of a plot can destroy the Estate Sign for the plot and the plot will be reverted back to normal land. Multi word support should already be working, If it's not please let me know where it's not working. As for paying the money to the server, If you put [AdminEstate] for the owner name, it SHOULD work like that. I haven't gotten around to testing that yet so i'm not sure if it works right yet. Renting i'm still working on and same with pay over time. If you have any other ideas let me know thanks :)

Posted May 13, 2012Hey i just thought of some things that i was wondering if you could add.
1) maybe multiworld support
2) make it so that the server owns plots so example
sign ----> [Estate]
price
[owner] <-----put server here and then the server will take the money i estate name instead of another player
3)renting a plot
4)pay over time
5)revert plot back to default chunk of world when it gets unowned
I know some of these would be harder to add and maybe more long term but I think that they would be super helpful if you added them.

Still working on it! But, sad thing is, i'm leaving in a week and i will be gone for 3 months. So, if i don't get it done before then, it may be a while before it's actually done :(

Actually, connecting to WorldGuard may be a really good way to attain the "parent region" feature. I hope this can be done soon! xD

That would be very difficult, But i'll look into it. Also, tonight i should be releasing another update that will make it so that you can add "Users" to an estate so that they can build and destroy on it too. But they cant do anything to the actual estate. :)

Posted May 10, 2012Awesome plugin. Does exactly what it says. Only issue I've run into is with estates placed in areas that are WorldGuarded. I solved this by making each estate its own region with the build flag set to allow. It would be awesome if this plugin could hook into WG somehow and do this automatically if thats even possible.

Alrighty, So it's up. You can now set a "Max" setting in the config that will make it so that they can only own that many plots server wide. You can override this with the permission estate.unlimited. I also add a command so that you can put your plot up for sale =3

Hey, So, I'm the only person actually doing any coding on this. But, I will certainly try to add those things when I have time. I'm working on some other plugins too, Some specifically for my server. And one other that I plan on releasing. Once it's released I will start working on your ideas :) And thanks! Keep em coming :)

Posted May 6, 2012Also not to be pushy but could you also add a feature where if they put down a sign it will protect a certain area for them. Like if i place a sign and type [estate] a 16x16 zone with the sign in the center or something like that. also if you do add this you should add a price to do this! Also you guys should make it so you can set up server estates for a player to buy so make a plot then put the sign down but make it so that you can set it up so that the money just dissappears (goes to server)
