If EchoPet is not loading on your Spigot 1.8 build and your server is outputting "Skipping loading of EchoPet as it does not work with Spigot 1.8 builds!", please try running a later Spigot patch. I can't do anything about older Spigot releases blacklisting the plugin (preventing it from loading).
The future of this plugin is still being determined.
Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server. These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk.
EchoPet is a simple Donator Perk plugin designed to add Pets that follow players around on their adventures throughout Minecraft. All Pets are custom entities spawned and controlled by the plugin.

EchoPet comes with an auto-updater to save you, as a server owner, from continually checking this page for new files. It simply connects to dev.bukkit.org and compares the versions of available files. If you do not wish for EchoPet to perform this check, navigate to the Configuration File (config.yml) in the EchoPet directory of your plugins folder and change "checkForUpdates" and "autoUpdate" to "false". The first value disables the version comparison altogether and the second updates the plugin automatically if new files are detected.
Metrics is used to collect plugin statistics. Only data such as plugin version and players online is collected. If you do not wish for this data to be collected, disable it in the 'Plugin Metrics' folder of your 'plugins' directory.

Yes, of course. Implemented and tested pet removal.
Excellent work in the dev builds. One problem with flying an EnderDragon: SHIFT drops you from the ride, so there appears to be no way to descend while still riding, once you've ascended (spacebar). Suggestions?
Ooops! RTFM. Pet behavior, EnderDragon: Fly downwards if the owner is looking downwards (any pitch of above 50). Good solution.
Of course, it begs the question: Why don't I fly UP if I'm looking up? :}

I have seen many servers with this plugin, they are able to set prices on the pets, lock certain pets for some ranks, and allow others for VIP ranks, and I was wondering how I might be able to do so.

why wont they be reappearing? they should be able to. The disguises work too. Im not sure if you saw libs disguises but it has human disguises working perfectly fine. also will they be in the v3? i think i saw something about it in the dev builds....
@DSH105 What was the problem with the Human pet type? What caused the instability?

@SlimeDog You can create custom items for the pet selection menu. Under the "petSelector" section of the config, create a new item with the command "pet remove".
e.g.
@jeannen as long as players have the required permissions, they will be able to create pets using "/pet <type".
@DanMohr123 I'm not really familiar with the PEX syntax, so I can't help you out in that field. All I can suggest is that you grant permissions for pets without the wild card node instead of negating those you don't want players to access.
Why haven't you put the human pet back? before the next update comes and makes it incompatible again, please add humans again o.o

EchoPet is outstanding fun. But I don't see a menu item to remove a pet. Hide is not the same as remove. Am I missing something? Please advise.

Currently on CraftBukkit/Spigot 1.8.7.
Plugin is on Version: 2.8.0-b52
When I attempt to use this plugin it gives the error: [EchoPet] EchoPet 2.5.0-b16 is not compatible with this version of CraftBukkit. Please update theplugin.
Any suggestions on a fix?

OKay thank you, and is there a way to "Keep pet" ? Example: My player has a pig pet. He buy a cow pet on my store, he now has 2 pets, so, it use a command for selecting the pet that he want to have with him between all his pets

Is there anyway to allow certain pets for certain ranks. For example; an admin can have a wither as a pet but a VIP cannot. Any thoughts?
