How does it work?
this plugin allows you to run promoting commands shorting and alot better, example instead of: /world world. /user example. /user addgroup Admin
you do: /rank <player> Admin
it does this on all worlds exept if you put in on ignored in the config

Requirements
Commands
- /rank <player> <rank> - changes player's rank on all worlds exept if world is blacklisted in config and removes old group.
- /addperm <group> <permission> - add a permission to a custom rank in all worlds exept if world is blacklisted in config and removes old group.
- /rmperm <group> <permission> - remove a permission from a custom rank in all worlds exept if world is blacklisted in config and removes old group.
Permissions
- ep.promote.<group> - allows to promtoe people to a custom rank
- ep.promote.* - allows to promote users to all groups
- ep.addperm - allows /addperm
- ep.rmperm - allows /rmperm

thats because the player probably still has the permission ep.promote.*
in that case it will ignore any orther group permissions

Posted Dec 29, 2012I am having problems limiting the ranks that can be used bu groups.
I want to allow our Mod rank to use all ranks, except for Mod and Admin. The standard negative permission in PEX does not work : - -ep.promote.Mod
Also, the remove permission command does nothing (without an initial equal addperm): /rmperm Mod ep.promote.Mod
Is there a way to do this other than adding all the allowed ranks individually?

I have already ep.promote.admin in my perms
Do you have any idea ?

Allright, this is all because GroupManager's code, it notifiy's you when you promote/demote someone, and this plugin promotes/demotes you on every single world in your server.
so it will say this, this is GroupManager's fult and i cant fix it.

1. No errors in console or server logs.
2. The player I did a screenshot for is fake, but it happens with every rank and player unless it's demoting to Default.

the developper of BukkitPermisisons has been inactive for quite a while
he locke dhis methods in his plugin
i cant support it, you should change to bPermission or permissionsEx
it works really good
u should choose one of them depending on your worlds.
if you got multi-worlds, i recomment bPermissions
if not, i recomment permissionsEx
