EasyPermissionsEx

This plugin was made to help users use PermissionsEx commands easily without /pex and remembering what to type. It makes commands more similar to GroupManager to make it easier for those who are planning to/have already switched from GroupManager to PEx. (Which is a very good idea in my opinion)

Commands

- /easypex - Displays a list of commands and information about the plugin
- /easypermissionsex - Displays a list of commands and information about the plugin
- /upromote <username> <group> [<oldgroup>] - Promote a player to <group>. The <oldgroup> is optional. What it does is removes a player from <oldgroup> then promotes it to the <group>
- /udemote <username> <group> [<newgroup>] - Demote a player from <group>. The <newgroup> is optional. What it does is removes a player from <group> then moves the player to the <newgroup>
- /uaddp <username> <permisison> - Add a permission node to a player
- /udelp <username> <permisison> - Remove a permission node from a player
- /uprefix <username> <prefix> - Change a player's prefix
- /gaddp <group> <permission> - Add a permission node to a group
- /gdelp <group> <permission> - Remove a permission node from a group
- /gprefix <group> <prefix> - Change a group's prefix
- /uaddtimedp <username> <permisison> <seconds> - Add a permission node to a player for a specific amount of time
- /udeltimedp <username> <permisison> <seconds> - Remove a permission node from a user for a specific amount of time
- /gaddtimedp <group> <permission> <seconds> - Add a permission node to a group for a specific amount of time
- /gdeltimedp <group> <permission> <seconds> - Remove a permission node from a group for a specific amount of time
- /creategroup <group> [<parent>] - Create a new group. Adding a parent is optional and is not needed.
- /deletegroup <group> - Delete a group.

Information

There are no permission nodes as there is no need because basically what this plugin does is forces the user to perform the /pex version of the command using & replacing the variables inputted.

Note: You WILL need PermissionsEx for this plugin to work.
Note: You WILL need PermissionsEx permissions to use the commands.

@KingFaris10 when i use the command /pex user [name] add [command] it says i dont have enough permissions even though im oped

All players? You then talk about groups? You want to give every group one permission? You must make a default base group and make all groups inherit it.

This doesn't need an update but suggest some features and I may add them. I don't know what's going on with PermissionsEx as I do not develop it but I know that it doesn't really need an update, 1.6.4 is fine.

For the last time, this has NO permission nodes. It means you lack PermissionsEx permissions, (permissions.*)

Probably means you haven't got the PermissionsEX permissions.

By the way, this is not a EasyPex command, just a Pex one. Use /uaddp <player> <permission>

Can anyone help me i am trying to do it in game and when i use /pex user [name] add, and this error comes up Error in command syntax. Check command help.

@Avaina1918: Go To fix this, it is just a simple command in the console. All you have to do, is type:

/pex user [Name] add *

This will add to your username '*' which means you now have all permissions even if you are no longer OP. Now you may try the command again! :) Hope this helped! -TheExcel

This did not work for me...I did everything in the console and it still says "Unknown command. Type "/help" for help....I'm getting beyond frustrated I've uninstalled and reinstalled the damn plugin 100 freaking times..plz help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay so I do /plugins and it says the plugin is working, I have permissionsEx installed but, when I do /creategroup Owner it just appears all of permissionsEx commands, could someone please help me?

Poo. Doesn't Work on my Server Only Takes up space. It says its compatible with 1.6 and 1.7. It's Noy Working on Either. Try To Fix it!

Okay, I have a private server that I installed pex and easypex on. I tried to do /creategroup &7[Newbie]&f default in order to add a group (this is with no other ranks besides default), and it said I dodn't have enough permissions, even though I am opped. So I went to permissions.yml for pex and added all of the pex permission nodes onto the default rank (no others). I tried again and it still didn't work. Any help?

I'm just saying, it's already easy to promote/demote someone in PEX.

Just do /pex <promote/demote> <user>

How do you allow users to build I have used modifyworld.blocks.interact
and modifyworld.* but neither one work... What is it?
