Development Status

Many people wonder why development is slow on our plugins. Many of the developers have work, school or both to work around. We are also working on a iOS app that takes some of our times. We apologize for the delay between releases but we are working hard to make sure these plugins work as well as managing our real world lives and the development of our iOS app.

Updated to 1.5.2 sadly this version includes a massive bug :( We are working to fix it though :)

Description

Tired of static prices? You want to bring some realism to your item shop using dynamic prices?
DynamicShop offers you a highly configurable price system, based on demand and supply. You can also disable price changing of course.
With the newer versions you get also the ability not only to trade with a global shop, but also from player to player.
Customizable signs get things easy and statistics offer you a good overview.
All major economy and permissions plugins are supported using Vault, which has to be installed.

Features

Buy and sell items ingame via easy commands or signs
Prices change dynamically (Demand and supply, you can choose speed and form of changing or disable it completely)
Trade with a global shop or from player to player
Supports all major economy plugins using Vault
You can use your own names for the signs and materials
Statistics
Many individual configuration options for every item
Permissions support (Very detailled)
Buy-/Selltaxes can be granted to a tax account
Limit the amount of items per transaction
Shop opening times in Minecraft ingame or real time
Ingame list of all items and prices
Except buy and sell every command can be entered in the console
Quick commands
If you purchase something on your absence, the items will be saved and granted you on the next server join
Nothing is case-sensitive
Checks your inventory, so you can't buy, if your inventory is full
Many special functions for signs
A lot of specific error messages, instead of internal errors

I have the same problem... When i use /dynshop buy the price stay the same... When i do /dynshop sell the price lowers :D

Then you have to give every single permissions, like dynshop.customer.buy.cmd

To all others: Please create tickets! This is so messy and the ticket system is so nice!

I'm absent until New Year, but then I will start fixing. This night I will release a fix for the sign problem, after that you have to wait some days for support.

I don't get it what you exactly mean. Does the price or the amount rises? And how can you get to quintillions? :D

found another problem -,- the price does not increase So if I sell something it's going cheaper but when I buy something the price is constant....

Is there any way that the global signs can show exact pricing for that amount instead of the price for one of the item? For example cobblestone 64 $10 Should instead be: cobblestone 64 $640

Got the same problem with bpermissions - trying alle nodes and still no permission to use a sign :(

The command /dynshop buy 1 1 - works - but there is no change in the price it is constant:
pricechange: percent
pricechangespeed: 0.18

i have the same problem :( seems like the third row defines the meterial ... but the name is the amount xD ... epic plugin - but this bug is annoying!

I have two problems with the new 1.41

first i can't get it to work with permissionEX, i have tried putting in the strings like dynshop.globalsigncreate and that dossen't work. dosen't it work with permissionEX anymore??

Second. When i create a sign:

[DynamicShop] STONE 50 "empty"

When i buy from this sign i buy 50 Torches. it takes third line as both number and id.

I found a Massive loophole in this plugin. I love the idea of it and I really wish I could use it, but there's a very exploitable loophole.

1. Buy a large amount of an item 2. Sell that large amount of the item 3. Repeat

This would exponentially increase the amount gained each time. One of my server members made it into Quintillions! that's 18 zeros!

Is there a way to counter this little exploit?

In the mean time I've been using DynaMark and actually grown to like it. Can you explain to me how yours is better?

PS will you please make it so that one can simply execute /buy and /sell instead of /dynshop buy and /dynshop sell ?

Try just dynshop instead of dynshop.* If this doesn't work try to use all parent permissions: dynshop.admin, dynshop.customer, dynshop.info, dynshop.psigncreate and dynshop.globalsigncreate

If this doesn't work, create a ticket pls!

I could do anything with DynShop - buy, sell, make signs, etc.
Now, the above does not let me do anything with DynShop, nor does this:

I've tried everything from signs to /buy, and yet I always get "You do not have permission" from DynShop.

@SchwarzerZylinder Can you add support for Permissions 3.x, please? It's not too hard to add some words in plugin code but it'll make plugin easier to set up permissions and use. Hope uoy'll do it. :)

The lag issue was fixed (thanks!), but I can't get permissions to work after the 1.41 update (and 1.4).
I'm running GroupManager and I have the "*" node - It worked perfectly for me in 1.34. Now, however, no matter what permission nodes I assign, I can't get anything to work. DynShop always returns that "I do not have permission" to do something.
Was there any change in the permission handling in the most recent update?

I had a look at the Citizens API and it doesn't contain possibilities to hook into the trading system. Sorry :(

Hey, I would truly love to use this mod... however i use NPC traders from Citizens. If you could add support for them, i think a bunch of people would appreciate it.
