This plugin provides the option to make mobs visible, real-time, on the maps presented by Dynmap. It also serves as a simple example of the Dynmap Marker API, which may be of interest to other plugin developers for publishing their information on Dynmap.
To install, simply download the ZIP containing the plugin, unzip it into your plugins directory, and reload your server. Obviously, you will need Dynmap present and configured, as well - the current version of Dynmap-Mobs is compatible with Dynmap v1.6 or later.
After its first run, there will be a configuration file in the 'plugins/dynmap-mobs' directory, config.yml, which can be used to tailor which mobs are visible, control the display of the 'layer' on the dynmap maps for the mobs, and control visibility of the mobs.
In addition, the visibility of the mob icons can be controlled using the 'minzoom' setting. When non-zero, this specifies a minimum zoom-in level before mob icons are displayed (0=top zoom, so mobs are always shown). Also, the 'nolabels' option can be used to avoid setting labels for the icons.
Disclosure
This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version

Im getting the same thing too
Plug starts and shows no errors, but both vehicle and mobs layers lists as disabled. What am I missing here? I'm on CB 1.4.7-R1.0 with dynmap 1.4 and when I load this plugin it doesn't work and it only gives me the top down view on dynmap. Anyone else having this issue?

Hi, i've just tested the latest build 0.50 and it seems the Zombies do not appear on map.
Tested without any other plugin !

Edit... Seems that there is nothing wrong and there is no update needed.. The only thing I've found that might be troublesome is that the plugin seems to overwrite the config when reloading dynmap.. Which surely isnt nice ;)
However, with the following config saved when the server is shutdown I now get all mobs showing on the map;
Feature request, The Ability to create multiple layers with different mobs in each layer. So I could have a hostile layer, a villager layer, and a livestock layer.
Also, with the Villagers going to be differentiated after the update could the mouseover text be their job?
May I make a feature suggestion? As users are using mob farms, any way of setting it to stack the icons and display a number next to the icon?
Let's say if there is more than 3 same mobs in X range on the map (zoom sensitive as well?) client side, the icons stack. If anything, it might help on client side memory on viewing while keeping the clutter down.

This doesn't seem to be working for me on the newest dynmap (v. 0.38) - Does it require an update?
I am running R1.0 instead of R1.2 - Is this my problem? This plugin doesn't require 1.2, but the dynmap version seems to. Other than this plugin's lack of additions everything runs perfectly though.

hey how do i make Passive mobs show.
Would it be possible in a future revision to hide mobs on the map that are being rendered from players nearby that are hidden?
I cannot even imagine the lag with 3000 mobs and 50 people on the livemap... :/
Will it show underground mobs? (if it do, it will be to easy to find mob spowner :( )
