    /additem (ID:Damagevalue)

Checks if the item specified is already in the database, and if not, prompts the user for all information required to add a new entry ("Please enter the name", "Please enter the price floor", "Please enter the starting price")

Would be extremely useful for heavily modded servers in which it's extremely easy to miss one of potentially hundreds of items, specifically tekkit servers.

you can add an item. Go into the items file, add the right info for the item, then go into the alias file, and make the correct alias's. Then reload the config and its done.

Except the server needs to be offline for the entire time you're editing the file since it constantly updates the prices and the last time items were sold/bought.

Did you have people buying stuff while you did it? Because when I did that it just discarded my changes.

Yes I did, try to do it when not very many are on or ask people not to buy anything if thats happening. And, obviously, make sure you save the files then reload. It could be your FTP file editor. I use cyberduck and never have issues with that.

    Maybe eventually.

I'm far from ready to support Tekkit servers.

Although some tekkit items will work, the way I set up recognition for MusicDisks, data value items, potions, and EXP means I have to change a lot of that before Tekkit items can be added.

So, in short, maybe, but not yet.
