- Making signs which automatically mount a player and bring them to the written destination on the sign.
- Permissions-Support
- Support of all Economy-Plugins supported by Vault (Vault is required for that)!
Admins can set different prices for all ways of travel! - Admins can choose in the config whether dragons of this plugin should destroy blocks or if any dragons should break blocks when touching.
- All messages are fully customizable! Default messages.yml is English, but we provide German and French language files as well.
Due to the fact that things can change rapidly in this project, I stopped maintaining instructions on the plugin and other information like a list of commands/permissions in the forums, on this page etc. and decided to create a central location where you can always find all information up-to-date: The DragonTravel-Wiki.
Please use this wiki and report all mistakes you find in there and avoid posting questions on topics like commands/permissions/sign-creation etc., which are answered in the wiki, in the comments.
The questions and requests posted in the comments are repeating and there are some questions we answer at least once per week, so we decided to write down some of those Frequently Asked Questions.
Please read the questions below and see if you can find your question there, this really saves us time we can then spend on the development of DragonTravel.
- Is it possible to change the speed the dragon's wings are flapping?
- Is it possible to remove the dragon's health-bar?
- Is it possible to control the dragon manually?
- Is it possible to move the rider closer to the dragon to avoid him flying above it?
- DragonTravel does not start, what can be the problem?
You can find the answers to those questions in the FAQ!
Please read the paragraph above before posting any questions!
@XemsDoom

Now there only is the 1.7 version.....
Wahts the Changes??
@subanomic
I will delete your commnat as you did not fill up a ticket for your issue,
I moved your problem to the tickets.
@Ducky_333
does a message in the chat appear saying something like "Destination sign created"`?
the text on my sign turned yellow, which is an indicator of it be correct, right?
Just thought I might point this out, people on dragons can attack people off. However people off them can not attack the ones that are on.
@Ducky_333
you are doing something wrong with the signs. read the wiki for explanation how it works.
I'm aware that I have stations set to true, and I am only trying to fly within the station radius. Neither the /dt travel or signs work in the station area. It was fine until I re-loaded. I can mount up fine while at a station.
@XemsDoom
Just got home and wanted to try to reproduce it... ;)
@cvxx7q
there is not any error, you maybe glitched out. I can't reproduce.
@cvxx7q
Okay, we didn't state that it works with any build after R1 anywhere... ;)
Will take a look at it, but does not sound like an error we can fix...
@Phiwa
i ran latest DT on R4 and the dragon flew for a bit then everything like stopped.. then the dragon suddenly appeard in the far distance flying and left me behind lol
i dont have any error logs but if i can make it happen again (somehow) ill let you know ;)
ofc R4 isnt supported yet, but just lettin ya know :P
Soo amazing!!! This is an uber fix to the whiny nubs in PvP complaining about Combat TP and Warps/Spawn. Now I can just have the ride dragons!
@Ducky_333
Be sure that set UseStations to false in the config.
@Iv_Ollieee
the boss health bar is built into minecraft/tied to the dragon, as i said, if it was easily doable im sure they would have done it by now
as for avoiding cliffs etc, that is coming in (hopefully) the next release which is awhile away
you have usestations enabled and are only allowed to travel with signs/from stations
Everything was working fine for me, then I loaded my server and I can no longer travel places. When i do '/dt travel <place>' It tells me 'this command is disabled' and to make a travel sign thing, which also doesn't do anything..?
I haven't changed anything, so I don't see why it would be doing this.
This plugin is great! It may take longer than warping but players like it a lot more. Easy to use and make stations and destinations. Easy to remember commands and just general great fun!
Definitely a great plugin!
Suggestions: -> Remove the boss bar. Can be a bit annoying. -> An option to fly around/over cliffs rather than through them.
Thanks! I recommend you download this.
i get it that some people run big rigs but it does seem kind of stupid when they say
"omg my (model number) + (big number sepcs) lags beacause of ur plugin, u shud program it how i say because i think the numbers mean everything, and not that it cud be a simple cross plugin conflict, or bad machine configuration"
no offense to the guy below, but that is the usual case :S
@rebel24
hahahahaha core i5 8GB of ram and not a single lag even from the early versions.. you may need to blame something else other than threads
@DQone Okay, great. ;)
I have worldguard installed but even in non protected areas, I get an invisible dragon. Then when I travel I get left behind. When I dismount I appear where the dragon would have been. Please help!
Never mind. I found it was regios that was the problem, not worldguard. After editing each worlds confing file and adding EnderDragon: true under mob spawns, it is now working perfectly! :)
