- Making signs which automatically mount a player and bring them to the written destination on the sign.
- Permissions-Support
- Support of all Economy-Plugins supported by Vault (Vault is required for that)!
Admins can set different prices for all ways of travel! - Admins can choose in the config whether dragons of this plugin should destroy blocks or if any dragons should break blocks when touching.
- All messages are fully customizable! Default messages.yml is English, but we provide German and French language files as well.
Due to the fact that things can change rapidly in this project, I stopped maintaining instructions on the plugin and other information like a list of commands/permissions in the forums, on this page etc. and decided to create a central location where you can always find all information up-to-date: The DragonTravel-Wiki.
Please use this wiki and report all mistakes you find in there and avoid posting questions on topics like commands/permissions/sign-creation etc., which are answered in the wiki, in the comments.
The questions and requests posted in the comments are repeating and there are some questions we answer at least once per week, so we decided to write down some of those Frequently Asked Questions.
Please read the questions below and see if you can find your question there, this really saves us time we can then spend on the development of DragonTravel.
- Is it possible to change the speed the dragon's wings are flapping?
- Is it possible to remove the dragon's health-bar?
- Is it possible to control the dragon manually?
- Is it possible to move the rider closer to the dragon to avoid him flying above it?
- DragonTravel does not start, what can be the problem?
You can find the answers to those questions in the FAQ!
Please read the paragraph above before posting any questions!
@Phiwa
I can have you jump on my server if you'd like to see whats going on.
@TeeKay731
I haven't been able to work in this yet, but I have it on my todo list. :) Feel free to create a ticket for this to keep track of the progress. :)
@Phiwa
Awesome and how about the disappearing act the ender dragon does?
@TeeKay731
Hi TeeKay, I just tried to reproduce the problem.
I'm running Spigot 1.10.2-R0.1 with DragonTravel v01.005.01, iConomy 7.0.6 and Vault 1.5.6-b49. The only modifications I made were setting 'Payment.byEconomy' to 'true' and 'Payment.Economy.Prices.toStation' to '10.0'.
Payment works like a charm, is it possible that you tested it with a user who has the permission dt.*, dt.nocost.* (included in dt.*) or is OP? If one of those things is the case, the user does not have to pay for travels. Other users should lose money when travelling...
@TeeKay731
Okay, thanks for the report. :)
I'm trying to look into it as soon as possible, but it might take a week or two.
@Phiwa
Here is the pastebin http://pastebin.com/qTQ44Wy9 I am currently running v01.005.01 of DragonTravel and 1.10.2 of spigot
Also another issue came up where when someone is riding the dragon while mid air the dragon glitches out and the player is just left floating there mid air and has to relog in order to not be mid air again.
@TeeKay731
Could you please paste your whole config to pastebin or hastebin?
In addition to that, it would be good to know the exact version of Craftbukkit/Spigot and DragonTravel you are running, so I can try to reproduce the problem. :)
@Tchekda
Thanks for your work! In the future, please test the config at least once to ensure it works, I had to make quite some adjustments (escape ', set file version to 0.9, ...).
I will include it in the next release. :)
I made the french traduction : messages-fr
@Phiwa
Yeah i dont have the "usepayment" option in the config. I do how ever have the "useEconomy" set to true and still nothing.
@TeeKay731
Set Payment.usePayment and Payment.byEconomy to true in the config (depending on your version, usePayment might not exist and is not necessary in that case).
Yes i have vault installed. Do i have to do something in the config in order to get it to work properly?
@TeeKay731
Do you have installed the plugin Vault? It is some kind of "adapter" I use to hook all economy plugins and if it is not installed, payment will not work.
So for some reason i have my stations setup to take a $100 payment to travel and for some reason its not taking the payment. The economy plugin i use is iconomy. I'm not sure if this is a compatibility is both plugins or if you just haven't created that part yet. But there's my issue.
sweet, thanks for update :D
Just released new version v01.005.01, only waiting for approval.
Please report all bugs you find using the ticket tracker.
New version still requires a bit of testing and will probably be published until Tuesday.
@Kyazib @CheetahCraft
Hi Kyazib,
thank you for the information. I was not able to reproduce the problem itself yet, but I implemented a new command (/dt rembugdragon) which removes the nearest enderdragon within a radius of 10 blocks around you. This should do the job as a workaround while I'm still trying to figure out how those dragons glitch into their strange status.
Command will be included in next version which I hope to be able to release this week.
Hello @Phiwa
I am currently using dragon travel on our creative/survival server Gildorym and have come into a bit of an issue. As CheetahCraft mentioned before stationary dragons can not be removed. At first when using the plugin they removed just fine with my test ones and I just did it again and it works fine as well. The issue is I think some error occured for two stationary dragons that are currently in the world that will not delete/remove.
Whenever I attempt to delete them with /dt remstatdragon <name>, /dtremstatdragons <name>, /dt deletestatdragons <name> it will either do nothing (show no error) or it will bring up the /dt commands list options. I was curious if you had any idea how to remove stationary dragons that seem to be "invisible" to the /dt remstatdragon command.
Thanks for all your help -Kyazi
@CheetahCraft
I finally was able to take a look at it, but it seems to work properly for me. I fixed some other bugs in the handling of stationary dragons (mostly message-related). If you give me some more information on your setup (see my previous message), I can try to reproduce it...
@xH3LLRAIZ3Rx
No, that is not that easy since a horse would need some pathfinding AI and I barely have time to update DragonTravel, si I have no spare time to spend on a new plugin of that size... -.-
Can you make a Horse Travel plugin, like this but with horses
