Staff members on my server cannot teleport to players while they are disguised.

Possibly add a permission to give players that will allow them to teleport to disguised players, or just make it generally allowed?

We were unable to replicate this. If you could tell us the steps to reproduce this on a server with just DisguiseCraft installed, it would be very helpful.

    disguisecraft.teleporttodisguised

    give your staff this permnode

  • lme_999 posted a comment Mar 31, 2015

Which build of DisguiseCraft should I run that I should give my staff that permission node?

It's quite possible one of my other plugins may be interfering with it or causing it like Essentials.

OP's are able to teleport to players who are disguised which is why I thought it could be something with the permissions.

If disguise craft works and no errors, just keep using the one your using. And just give them that perm node.

And essentials wont do that, i run both on my server and works fine.

And pls let us know if that solves the isssue!

Actually that permission node doesn't exist. Testing it right now shows that we are able to teleport to disguised players without being op and just having the teleport permission.

Do you have a plugin that might be causing this issue? Anything overriding the tp command?

Are you sure that permission doesn't exist? I gave it to my staff and it seems to work.. occasionally now, but still not all of the time.

It's possible, I have around 60 plugins. I can post a full list if you want?

I added it to the plugin.yml for a couple of builds while testing something. However, it shouldn't actually affect anything. In fact, the builds that it was in are broken because I forgot a colon in the plugin.yml

A full list would be nice. We can see if there are any obvious incompatibilities.

Odd, idk then. Here's a list of all the plugins I have, some are custom but they are mostly small and I don't think they'd affect this.

AlwaysDay, AntiAd, AutoSaveWorld, Buycraft, ChestShop, Connect Four, Chest Commands, CraftBook, Essentials(Chat, protect, spawn), Factions, Jackpot, LWC, LogBlock, MCBans, Multiverse-Core and nether portals, mcMMO, MultiInv, Magic Signs, MassiveCore, OpenInv, PlotMe, Playtime, PermisisonsEx, ProtocolLib, ServerListPlus, SurvivalGames, TuxTwoLib, TNTRun, uSkyBlock, Vault, Votifier, VanishNoPacket, WorldBorder, World edit and guard, World Portal, some admin chat plugins, an announcer plugin, a particle plugin, and two other really small plugins that wouldn't affect this and of course DisguiseCraft.

Perhaps try running a binary search. Preferably in a test server cloned from your server, remove half the plugins and see if there is the error. If the error is fixed, switch back to the erroneous half of the plugins and continue the binary search on them.

A binary search? Like testing 1 plugin out a time to see if one specific one is causing it? Would take awhile but I suppose I could try it.

Sorry no. A binary search is what I was trying to describe. Remove half your plugins at a time.

    Sorry I'm on phone
