DeathPrice
DeathPrice
Description
When a player dies they can be charged in two different ways. They can be charged a percentage of their current balance or a fixed amount when they die. If using the percentage option then the player will lose a percentage of their balance everytime they die. You can also enable a fixed amount to be deducted after a players money goes below a certain amount if using the percentage option. This means that you can actually make a players money go into a negative amount on supported economy systems.
Installation
- Simply drag and drop the file into your servers plugins folder, reload/restart your server and configure the deathprice config.
- Once the config has been edited to suit your needs then save it and type /deathprice reload in-game and your settings will be put into action.
Commands
- /deathprice reload (permission is deathprice.reload) This command will reload the deathprice configuration to implement any config changes without a full server restart/reload.
Permissions (SuperPerms)
- deathprice.reload (Gives permission to use the /deathprice reload command)
- deathprice.exempt (Stops that person losing money on death)

Yes essentials economy is what is use and i will test some permissions from essentials economy to make players go negative and not be able to have unlimited spending funds. I'll get back to you on that.
@ThaSourceGaming
Hi again,
So after testing it with essentials economy I found that all the features work exactly the same in iConomy and Essentials Economy. In iConomy there is no way to have a negative amount of money whereas in essentials there is. For a player to go into negative money and thus have a 'loan' from the server, they need the permission 'essentials.eco.loan'. The only problem with this permission is it doesn't just apply to this plugin and so it means that they can basically have an unlimited amount of money (up to the essentials limits in the essentials config.) I also don't think there is any way to get around this as the permission because its actually coded into the API part of essentials aswell, meaning its the only way to take money away from an essentials economy account and so it will trigger that permission check everytime. I can't see any solution to this currently so it seems the only way would be to speak with the essentials developers to see what they can do. I will probably make a 0.2 version that will completely empty the users account if there aren't enough funds to even take away the fixed amount. Some plugins may have checks that don't allow people to make purchases if they have less than 0 money but you would have to test every plugin on the server before you go through with allowing them to loan money from it. I hope you find a way around this and if you do, please tell me on here ;)
Thanks

@ThaSourceGaming
Hi,
When i tested the plugin i used vault and iConomy, could you please tell me what plugins you are using so i can test it with them. The plugin definitely works with iConomy perfectly and it uses vaults methods meaning it should be compatible with essentials economy aswell which i believe is what you are using. I will test it with essentials economy later but i dont see any reason it wouldn't work unless its trying to make the user have negative amounts of money and either vault or essentials economy doesn't support that. Please could you tell me any chat messages you get when it trys to deduct the money or any errors that you get in the console.
Thanks

Okay 1 bug found.
DeathPrice: AlwaysFixedPrice: false PercentageRemovedOnDeath: 15 FixedPriceBelow: 20 FixedPrice: 15
Thats my config above ^. So as you can see, above $20 it will take away 15% of the players total money. But when they reach $20 and below, they will start losing $15 fixed amount.
The problem is when the amount of money is 20 and below, it won't lose fixed amounts.
@ThaSourceGaming
Thanks ;) I hope your experience is bug free xD But if not you know where to find me :D
Thanks again
