Death and Rebirth
The plugin is not going to be continued on it's own, you'll find a rewritten and much better version in
Death and Rebirth gives Minecraft a new death system. After dying a player needs to be resurrected which can be done by other players or by using a shrine.

sry, now that I read what I wrote, it doesn't make sense to me either :-D
what I mean is now we have dar.ignore permission, which is global no matter how many worlds I have (main, nether, the end, creative)... so the question is how hard would it be to expand these permissions to be e.g. dar.ignore.creative, so people in creative world would not become ghosts when killed but for other worlds, they would
I'm afraid to put this plugin to work for everyone, as this is a very non-standard MC experience and people might get confused a lot... but if I create a new world and only allow ghosts there, people would be able to enter this world, live there, build there, kill there and have a sort of RPG experience they will EXPECT (I could add vampires and long nights and all sorts of other things into such world then)

Do you mean a separated world for ghosts? Wouldn't it be kina boring since ghosts can't modify any blocks? Maybe I'm getting it wrong :). At the moment I'm not planning new features since I'm quite busy in other projects.
this is an amazing looking plugin!
a question though - will you be adding permissions support per-world? is it hard to implement? the idea is to create a ghost-world where players can relocate if they wish and enjoy the afterdeath experience (possibly with some vampire plugins etc.)

I'm running on R4 tho :( My players found they can respawn by clicking at their tombs when they should have gone near the shrine by themselves or /reb to respawn. In addition, invisibility is kinda unstable. Sometimes I can see ghosts even if they are invisible.
PS: /slay from commandbook doesn't turn players to ghosts. Is that a bug?

I'm getting the same error too. It happens when you die and the plugin places the sign where you died. I'm running this on 1.1-R3 so that might be the problem since I'm using the 1.1-R4, but I don't think this error message means anything considering the plugin is still working properly.

Got this error. Also invisibility is not working well. Sometimes ghosts can be seen.

So hey, this looks to be about the closest thing for what I'm looking for, but don't know if it'll actually fulfill my needs.
I'm wanting to have players, when they die, be spawned in a spot in the Nether, and then have to leave the nether. From there, they can either go to a Shrine and respawn (no items), or find their gravestone where they died and right click to to resurrect (to regain items), is this possible with this mod?

hi, I want this plugin really bad on my server, but when I want to create a shrine, it doesn't work with the stick, and also, I can't select it with the stick. I CAN create it but when I die I respawn at my bed, and I can also destroy the shrine :S. please help
Is the NoCheat option still available or was it abaondoned? Getting TONS of notifications now when people are ghosts, and it also seems they are being kicked for flying now too, where as before they were not.
somehow everyone who is a ghost is visible... even if I do hideghosts and stuff
For one reason or another when anyone dies on my server they spawn at this random place... This is odd because it's not the spawn, but instead the original spawn. This was happening before I re-introduced this plugin, though, so has anyone had this issue? I must have a rogue plugin... man do i HATE those!
