DarkHorse
DarkHorse
What is it?
DarkHorse is a simple, lightweight plugin that lets you spawn all types of rideable beasts in Minecraft, INCLUDING the "darker" horses in the game. That's right - zombie and skeleton horses! Using a simple set of commands, you can spawn in these mobs immediately and shock people with the unnatural horses!
And now, not only can you spawn all the types of horses, you can even ride them too! Spawn a tamed horse, right-click with a saddle, and travel through the countryside on your noble undead steed!

Enjoy DarkHorse? It would help me greatly if you'd donate a few extra dollars for developing the plugin! I'm a student, so I don't have much time or money, and any sized contribution would be more than welcome. :)

Do you happen to know what version of Java your server is running off?
If you could, do you think you could copy+paste the error that appears in console when you run the command? You can use a website like pastebin.com to do this.
Help! when i try to use /dh horse , it said there is an internal error. Pls help!
@ifliplaw
I could look into making a separate plugin to do this. I will add this to my to-do list for a future update!
@ifliplaw
No, the Dark Horses do not have any special advantages instead of just looking extremely awesome. I will check out the possibilities of this, but I'm not sure what all I would be able to do besides alter speed.
Also do these horses have any features a normal horse does not? Can you add them.
Can you make it so that these new mob types can spawn anywhere in the minecraft world?

Thanks for the observation – once I get back around to writing up some code, I will see if this could be connected to making them ridable. Currently, I'm bogged down with schoolwork so I am not around much to put time into plugin development. :(
I have reason to believe undead/skeletal horses behave similarly to normal horses b/c they can be mounted if spawned with something riding it, which it consequently throws off. if it's spawned aligned to a player it may work... But that's all just observation.
@Tobias2289
I never claimed that they were spawnable - all I have done is manipulate the in-game code to spawn what was already coded by Mojang. I don't even know if it is possible for a plugin to make the undead horses ridable anyways because of the extent of what it would change.
You should really add somewhere a note about the zombie/skeleton horses not being tamable/ride able. Wasted my time downloading this, install it and then the only reason we wanted it did not function.
@Coyote692
As much as I would love to do that, that's more along the lines of something Mojang would have to do. I don't think I could even alter the game that much, even if I wanted to. But good suggestion regardless!
maybe you should try to make that they spawn naturraly and that zombies can ride them. if it's possible
@Gitany
Oh, awesome - thanks for the tip! That's likely what it could be, seeing as how I used a fairly recent CraftBukkit API to code the plugin as well. I will refer to this to help troubleshoot for future bugs as well related to this.
@DyreCraft
Thanks for the support! I'm glad I could help you out!
Great plugin- exactly what I was looking to use. Thank you.
@shawn889
try updating your craftbukkit version. The latest one is craftbukkit 1.6.2-R0.1
@jflory7
I think I know whats wrong. I had he same problem, same error. I used an older craftbukkit version that was compatible with 1.6.2 but too old for some plugins. I downloaded the latest version and then it worked.
@shawn889
Hey Shawn, thanks for the bug report. In order for me to figure out what's going on, I will need to see the stacktrace log for your server when you run the commands. A stacktrace log is the errors that pop up in your server's console when you run the command.
When you have the errors, please paste them into a file at "pastebin.com", and then please make a support ticket for the bug so I can track the bug.
