Custom Server Messages | csm

With csm you can redefine the default Bukkit/Minecraft-server messsages.
(For example: whitelist message, join message, block /plugins message, and much more)

Features

Edit Join & Leave messages
Edit /say & /me format (csm.say & csm.me to allow it)
Block /plugins, /version & /seed (csm.plugins, csm.version & csm.seed to allow it)
Disable messages by typing: Message: ''
Edit deathmessages!
If you have an other idea, write it in the Comments =]

Permissions

csm.me Acces for the command /me <Message>
csm.say Acces for the command /say <Message>
csm.plugins Acces for the command /plugins
csm.version Acces for the command /version
csm.seed Acces for the command /seed

Disclaimer

CustomServerMessages uses an Auto Updater. This means that new Versions will be downloaded automaticly, by default. You can disable this option in the config.yml!

The plugin sends statistics about the usage to the server http://mcstats.org/. You can disable in the config.yml!

No custom message for "<player> was burnt to a crisp whilst fighting <player>
When using custom /say with a server sign it runs it twice
When a player does /say it does not do it from csm, just regular /say

Hi is it possible to add my own commands into the command section ?

Example there is the plugins ... it works. But for /pl it does not so i would simply add Pl: enable true and so on

Is it possible like this ? or any other cmd ?

Btw this plugin description is horrible

First of, configs were probably restored since you edited them while the server was running(Your probably just inexperienced and have no clue what your actually doing, but we're not blaming you). Second, you cant actually think that everything resolves around your server, no where in this plugin post does that author state that pex is a dependency. All functions that are in this plugin is useful for people, it might not be the best choice for you but theres no need to harras the plugin because of your ignorance.

Other than that great plugin works like a charm!

This plugin is HORRIBLE. I edited a few things, saved it, restarted the server, and the original config gets restored. It's also pointless to restrict /seed, /pl, and /version since my server uses PEX and that can be disabled with it. Plus how it edits /say and /me since that can also be changed with other plugins too.

A on firstJoin message would be sweet :)

EDIT: Also multiple deathmessages per deathcause picked randomly.

EDIT2: would be also pretty neat if the player killed player message could contain the item somebody got killed with. And if the name of that item is colored, then it would be colored in the message too.

Also: Own message if player gets killed by fists (I.E.: "michidk killed ZeEye bare handed.") Own message if player gets killed by a tamed wolf (I.E.: "ZeEye was mauled by michidk's wolf.") Message if someone dies from a dispenser (I.E.: "ZeEye fell for a dispenser trap.")

Try resetting the server instead of reloading - I had a similar problem and this fixed it (csm resets the config whenever you reload)...

Hello.

Can you add:

/msg variables?
permissions groups in which Join, Leave message works when event executor is player in this group?
E.g Player join to server - not show to all
Owner join to server - show this to all?

I can't use pipes - | <-- those - in the config, or else it resets.

Would be really nice, as my server's chat format is based around them.

I had to remove this plugin its so terrible, I edited ONE charactor and uploaded the config, and it re-wrote over with the aweful default config. This plugin does not work at all.

MOTD system should follow the SAME format structure as &c etc, Using § is a really massive pain and very inconvienient, Opening a config with Notepad + + or Sublime Text 3 Does not recognise this charactor. This may be the structure that the minecraft control panel recognises, but you can implemnet a translator chaning all & to §. Also, the reload command wipes the config replacing it with the origional, the YAML is pharsed correctly.

Hello, I wanted to know if you can not add a function I'm looking for a long time. This is when ops admin joins or leaves the server it not the mark in the chat.. This authorization such as: - cms.leave.vanish - cms.join.vanish! Thank you. Sorry for my English, I speak French ..

Are your OP? If not, check whether you have the permission "csm.ignore". If this is so or you are op it will be ignored and the original cmd will be performed.
