CreeperHeal
CreeperHeal
CREEPERHEAL HAS MOVED TO SPIGOT
Protects your server against Creepers, TNT, and griefers!
CreeperHeal is more than a griefing protection plugin : it repairs the damage done by explosions (Creepers, TNT, etc...) and fire, in a natural way! Stay a while after a Creeper made a hole, and you will see the terrain pop back slowly, block per block, exactly as it was before the explosion! That way, your players will still be afraid of Creepers, but your server will continue looking nice!
- Anti-Griefing features
- Natural healing of the terrain after an explosion
- Fully customisable
- Easy installation and configuration
- Now compatible with WG
@nitnelave
Aw, dang. Ok. The people on my server liked this idea cause it made creepers more like a force of nature and regeneration. Any chance I could have a poke at the source to fork a version that does this?
Came up with this idea yesterday, you've taken it to another level.
This is awesome, thank-you.
@mantegudo
Set the chest-protection setting to lwc, and the lwc protected chests will respawn immediately, as if they never exploded.
@nitnelave
Hello! :D
May u do some LWC Integration? Everytime a creeper explodes on a protected block it lose protection after regenerated :(.
Thank you!

It would be very complicated to get our two plugins to work together, so we're not going to implement it. Anyway, Monster Apocalypse is soon going to be discontinued.
@Gildorien
When you blow up the ore, it disappears, until it is restored. So no, there is no duplicating possibility. If you do find one, report it, but I highly doubt that you do. As for the random values, it would be too hard to implement with my code, and I don't really see the point.
@acegiak
I could look into it, but currently no, there isn't. You would have to be very careful with that option, because it would only replace the blocks that have disappeared by the original ones, and sometimes it could just leave the hole open, if it was higher than the original terrain. I doubt it would render very well. I don't think I'm going to implement that.
Is there any possiblity of an option to have the healing be whatever the original terrain generation from the seed was rather than whatever players have built or sculpted?
I think it's a great idea but it seem like a bug. I'll explain.
If you find a diamond ore and you blow up this ore and it is restore later you will have infinite diamond ore, ain't you?
I think it would be nice if restore time for each block were random between two values.
I'd like to thank you for creating this plugin! It is hands-down the most useful, the most important plugin on my server.
I'm currently using it with dev. version #2116 for 1.2.4 and haven't noticed any issues.
There were two instances a while back (before 1.2) where healing 'froze' and would not continue. However, on a server restart, everything was healed. I'm not complaining, just thought I'd let you know!
Thanks again!
@carstorm
I'll wait until they at least get out a beta build, but I think there shouldn't be any compatibility problems. Just wait for bukkit!
Love this plugin. It has a few minor bugs with lava and redstone but for the most part lets me go tnt crazy and not destroy the spawn town...(for more than ten seconds + the time it takes to heal anyways :))
Any idea when this will update to 1.2.4 I need it really bad.
Just wanna say, this is the best and my favorite grief prevention plugin. You dont get the grief, and you still get the explosions :D
You have solved my problem for what to do with people who don't fill in creeper holes. It works perfectly for me. People might have problems with large TNT explosion since it crashes for some reason. But it works great for those annoying and now scary creepers.
@Thokas
I'll see, but normally (unless you have very limited ressources, but in that case your server would've just crashed) memory shouldn't be a problem. I often blow up a whole tower of TNT, and it remembers the whole hundred or so explosions. I don't know about Cannons though, I'll talk to the dev.
As for the fire, no matter how I try, I can't seem to heal everything... maybe some events aren't thrown properly?
Having issues with Creeperheal. On my server we are using the wonderful Cannons mod. The idea is that we have Creeperheal heal after 30 minutes to allow factions to get into enemy bases. But what is happening is after a bombardment of a base. Only the first couple explosions are healed, the rest never regenerates. There are no errors, it just doesn't work. I've played around with different settings, as well as tried just using the default config. Same issue. After so many explosions Creeperheal gives up. We're not talking a metric ton of explosions, maybe at most, 10. I really love the plugin and want it to continue to have a great synergy with Cannons.
On a similar note. Fire damage never fully regenerates. I've seen wooden structures pock marked with holes after a fire was "healed".
Hello, It appears there are some incompatibilities between Monster-Apocolypse and CreeperHeal. Yes, I'm aware that I can use Monster Apocalypse to prevent blocks from being destroyed, it is the way that CreeperHeal works that I like. The explosion and destruction all happens; it just all 'grows' back after a configurable amount of time. CreeperHeal is my favorite plugin.
But I would love to use both plugins. I'm using Multiverse to provide a CityWorld map. I then want Monster-Apocolypse to fill my city with Zombies (and a few other undead for flavor). My players can then risk life and limb to try to 'farm' the city for the resources. This all works great, except that it breaks CreeperHeal in my main world. Sad.
If I am missing a setting or other tricky configuration that will get these mods to work together, then I would be a very happy camper. If not, then I would ask if the (much-smarter-than-me) developers of these great plugins if they can figure out a solution. If they are just not going to play well together, I can respect that and wish everyone well.
Have fun, - K
Thank you!!! This plugin has saved me from having to rollback all the creeper explosions so much :)
@nitnelave
Thank you! I will test :D.
@mantegudo
There are some compatibility problems with Spout. I'll see what I can do
@markdf
There is an option for that already : replace-above-limit-only : true replace-limit : 64 (for example, for sea level)
@donald1440
Update MobArena. If you still have that problem after that, open a ticket with your (new) error log, your mobarena version and your CH version.
