CrazyLogin
Version 7.24
Its recommended to run your server in online mode!
Minecraft is a excellent game. If you want to play it, you should buy it, like every other game you play.
Description
Adds per player passwords to your server. This will increase your server's protection against griefers and account thiefs.
Keep these two things in mind:
- The protection is only as good as your passwords.
- The server is still less secure then a server in online mode.
- My plugin is not limited to offline mode servers,
therefore you can increase security for both server types (offline and online mode servers).
- My plugin is not limited to offline mode servers,

Issues ?
CommandHelper
Have a look at this CommandHelper Extension
Factions
Factions uses a very special way to execute commands, which bypasses default command protection.
Use this plugin to fix that until Faction fixed that:
CrazyLogin_FactionProtection
Convert database
You can convert your database with /crazylogin mode database <Type>".
Especially on huge flat databases this may take very long.
You can use this tool to convert your flat database to a mysql import script.
CrazyLogin_Flat_2_MySQL
(Notice: This file has NOT been reviewed by any Bukkit staff!)
Just copy this jar to your accounts.db then execute this jar.
This will create an accounts.db.sql file.

It seems to me that the "resetGuestLocations: true" does not work. When you enter your character appears in a place we log out, instead of at the first login (spawn). For this reason, unwanted people can get to know our location - the coordinates.
@TheOneMadHawk
I understand. Thanks for adding it to your ToDo-list :-)
@re4397
I found other bug. If the player connect but do not make login, he can attack other players without receive damage.
Thanks for your bugreport, fixed in v5.12.1

@ThisUsernameIsMine
Oh my, thank you for implementing this so fast. You're making me blush xD
This feature has been requested a long time ago.
Please take some rest (same for me).
I got some sleep and played minecraft, thats rest enough.
I'm looking for something that checks a player's name/ip combination on joining the server, and queries if that person already used 3 other names under that ip.
This is difficult. Becuase it adds a new range of data to this plugin and in my opinion: It does not fit to CrazyLogin. But it does match for CrazyLoginFilter.
But I can tell you right know, your IP changes from time to time. (Or if you are evil you change it yourself). Added to ToDoList for CrazyLoginFilter

edit: hmm, the maxOnlinesPerIP isn't exactly what i had mind.
It's good (i'll surely use it), but i'll explain what it is that i want(ed) ;-)
Note: the text you're about to read is related to people that don't have an account.
I'm looking for something that checks a player's name/ip combination on joining the server, and queries if that person already used 3 other names under that ip.
If the name doesn't match any of the found results, then CrazyLogin refuses that player to join the server, unless that person chooses to come back under a name (s)he once had before the names-per-ip limit was reached.
Hopefully i explained it simple enough to understand :-p
@ThisUsernameIsMine
ps: More than 1k lines per week, you say. Heard of WhatPulse? :D
I'm to paranoid to install tracking software.
Just joking I don't like this kind of software
EDIT:
added maxOnlinesPerIP option (v5.12)
@TheOneMadHawk
Oh man, you're a machine! hehe, i totally understand you, buddy ;-)

@ThisUsernameIsMine
Is it possible to add something so that the maximum accounts per ip-limit also counts for
people that plague the server under multiple names, but don't register an account?
Planned....
Just give me some time to relax (and play with my plugins) I wrote/changed above 1k lines per week for the last 2,5 moths.
Just wait 3 hours so I don't update CrazyLogin more than once per day (in average)
@TheOneMadHawk
Thanks! :-)
In addition to Maluzis request relating registrations:
Is it possible to add something so that the maximum accounts per ip-limit also counts for
people that plague the server under multiple names, but don't register an account?
I don't want to force registration as it 'polutes' the database with accounts from people that don't read the rules, but i would like to know if its possible to broaden/expand this ip-limit towards player names, as well ;-)
@Maluzis
Maybe you can add an option like:
register-enabled: true/false
This option is good. Some want to register your account was available from the page, not in the game.
I'll make something like that.
It's also a bug in game. In config.yml I removed the commands such as: /register /crazylogin command and the last one from the list. I left only /login. After all, you can use these commands.
They are whitelisted by default (its just a list of examples)
MD5 dosent working. Plugin encodes different than MD5.
I will take a look on that

EDIT2: It's working, but it was necessary to enter in the settings:
It is a little strange.
@Maluzis
After entering the admin account (no login) you can use the 'lightning rod' from the plugin CrazyWeather.
fixed, please update both CrazyLogin & CrazyWeather
@ThisUsernameIsMine
it makes it possible for someone (that joins the server under your name) to change your coords.
fixed, when moving moveRange*2 blocks far you are teleported back to your old position.
this also prevents turning around when moveRange=0
@ThisUsernameIsMine
About the leading 'spaces' (zeros) in the listed results: Can't this be changed to spaces as that looks a lot prettier than using 0's instead?
fixed in new CrazyCore update
@TheOneMadHawk
Sorry for the late reply, but i believe the problem is solved.
There was a replicating bug in bPermissions that completely ruined the permissions, but thankfully the author was able to release a fix :-)
edit: Alright, found something.
With moveRange set to 0.1 the screen only stops jumping if i put myself in creative mode (gamemode 1). This can be done without logging in.
When joining the server while being in mid-air and in survival-mode, the screen jumps and you slowly drop down until you're on the floor.
With the new moveRange method its also possible to look around when not logged in.
And last but not least, its even possible to change your position by simply 'walking' (at the speed of a snail).
Adding all this information together it makes it possible for someone (that joins the server under your name) to change your coords.
Unless you're able to fix this i'm sticking to moveRange 0.0 ;-)
After entering the admin account (no login) you can use the 'lightning rod' from the plugin CrazyWeather.
@ThisUsernameIsMine
I will fix that asap
okay, i edited my message...
it can also be related to another plugin i have, but i'm not 100% sure.
Perhaps its a combination of both :-/

Every update need to be approved by an operator.
I cannot speed that up. But you can guess the new version page:
