@Techzune
I know how to fix the typos. :P Just letting you know my friend!
I will try to reproduce the bug tomorrow and see if I can give you a more definite cause. Again, I wasn't able to reproduce it on my account, but my user encountered the issue and could reproduce it 100% before. Hopefully you have an idea of what it could be. I really love this plugin! :) Thanks and I'll talk to you soon.
@Chaznuts
To fix the SITCK issue (Which is my utter failure in spelling), replace anything that is spelled SITCK in the recipes.txt file to STICK. Sorry for my typos!
For the armor issue, I haven't found out the true cause of it. I haven't been able to reproduce it. I will try various scenarios and hopefully will be fixed in the upcoming update.
Another text typo. SITCK for STICK for the axe recipe. Also found and fixed another one.. will let you know as soon as I remember which one it was :P
Bad bug I found though.. One of my players found something (not sure if it HAS to be in this order), but he did the following commands:
/rc diamondblock (followed by trying to take the ironblock and it closing the interface)
/rc diamondaxe (followed by it saying it doesn't know what SITCK is)
/rc diamondchestplate
The chestplate recipe interface did not even come up and what happened was all of his diamond armor he was wearing turned into leather (not leather armor, leather pieces, like he was wearing 4 pieces of cowhide) and it became pretty buggy with his inventory. He had to relog to be able to unequip the armor and I had to give him the armor back. We tested it out a few more times, all with the same result: losing all his armor. Not sure if it was the sequence or what that made it happen, but I tried the exact same thing (except I had the "*" permission node and was op'ed) and it didn't do anything to me. I haven't tested more out since I have to go to work now, but I hope you can look into this soon. I have temporarily disabled the plugin, sadly. Hope to put it back up soon as it is very helpful. Thanks!
@oliver276
Certainly can, maybe, sorta?
Could you add brewing?
So, I found a bug.
The recipe for painting in the 'recipes.txt' file contains a misspelled 'stick', being spelled 'SITCK'.
Just thought I'd point that out.
The "/rc grid" and "/rh" commands are not working on my server. I didn't give myself the permission specifically, but I do have "*" so it should be working. For the crafting grid, it seems to try to look up an item called "grid" or "crafting" and as for the current hand item, it just can't find the recipes whatsoever. I'm using PEX on CB 1.4.7 R0.2. Not a big deal for me personally, but just letting you know! Thanks for the awesome work!
permissions doesn't work.. with vault and pex
Attention!
In Craftipedia versions 7.0.1 and 7.0.2 there is a bug where chests will be cleared after viewing a recipe and then interacting with the chest. In 7.0.21, this has been fixed. Please be patient for this update as it gets approved by DevBukkit.
If you find ANYTHING that seems out of the order or seems broken, please post a ticket and I will fix it as soon as I can.
Oh and I left a little debug feature in 7.0.21 that I like to call "close!" When recipes are closed, a message will show up in the console that says "Close." Please ignore this; it will be removed in future versions.
@Techzune
Hey, no apology necessary. I thank you for your efforts.
@GumbyDammit
This was intended to reduce RAM usage, but at a later date I will add separated items. I apologize for the inconvenience.
I tried this for about 2 minutes. Loaded it up and did /rc diamondsword. It showed me the recipe for a wood sword (wood_sword). Then I tried /rc diamond_sword and it told me recipe not found. Then I tried using a block ID via /rc 276 and it STILL had no clue what I was talking about. Lastly, I did /rc diamond sword and it again gave me the recipe for a wood sword.
Edit: OK, after looking through the recipe.txt file, I see what's going on. While it makes sense to show how classes of items are generally made, it was confusing to a n00b like me who didn't expect the output he got.
@Techzune
Ah awesome. It's been a while since I looked at the config file, and it wasn't there last time I checked. Glad you already supported custom recipes! Thanks for keeping up to date on everything! :)
@Chaznuts
Custom Recipes have been added already. However, they do not become involved with the true crafting system. I will be adding a config option to activate functionality to add the recipes to the crafting system. :)
Alright, Craftipedia 7.0.1 and 7.0.2 have been rolled out.
If DevBukkit approves 7.0.1 before 7.0.2, please keep in mind that if you add customized recipes to the recipes.txt file, you will have to delete the recipes.txt. (I suggest copying your custom recipes!)
Why do I have to reset the recipes.txt?
The furnace GUI requires the furnace recipes to be changed in the file. You can change them manually, but if your a little lazy like me, I would just reset it.
The recipes.txt file is self explanatory, but if you want to know what the last number means, it means how many come out of the result.
@Techzune
The functionality of it all has been fine for me so far. Maybe just some new items to be added, but nothing that should affect the plugin otherwise. Glad you're updating though. Let me know if you like my idea a few posts down :) Keep up the great work!
@Techzune That's great news. :)
I apologize for the wait guys! Personal life so far has been quite busy. However, the plugin is undergoing testing and will be released this week/weekend.
One bug I found is that for a golden apple, the recipe is with a piece of redstone, not an apple, which just messes with the whole thing and says you'll make an block of air (since the preview doesn't show anything :P). I'll let you know if I stumble across any others, but I think I remember one in the past too that I can't recall the item name of.
Also, would it be possible to add something in that allows us to add our own recipes? Not talking about new items or anything, but just different custom recipes like I have on my server. I would love it if my users typed "/rc grass" (or any one of my other additions) and have it show them, just like the current pop-up screen, to put seeds on top of dirt (which I specify in the config, if you ever take me up on my request). The config wouldn't have to be difficult. Just something simple like so:
Item:
GRASS (or if you use data values, 2)
Recipe:
[0,0,0]
[0,295,0]
[0,3,0]
Seems simple enough... but I know the coding for that to work is a different story :P
If you could support custom Spout items in there too, I wouldn't complain, but that wouldn't be a big deal either. Thanks for the awesome plugin and all of your hard work and I hope to hear back from you soon!
EDIT:
Would also be nice to have shaped and shapeless recipes if you take up on my idea. For the grass one, for example, the shaped could look something like so:
[295]
[3]
Which would then give it 6 possible places it could be crafted, all with the seeds on top of the grass. As for shapeless, items would just have to be listed without being in the 3x3 format, which would let it be crafted any which way.
What's up? Last time I checked a month ago I thought there was gonna be an update for 1.4 pretty soon :|.
