A NOTE FROM THE DEVELOPERS
Hi there. Just a friendly note to say that development of this plugin is well under way. I know how frustrated you all are, especially now that comments are disabled, but I just wanted to point you to the Changelog page. I am regularly updating it with the updates I do to code, and it gives you an idea as to what you can expect, server admins and developers alike. Comments are also disabled on that page, purely because we don't want to be spammed with impatient comments. Feedback is always welcome, but I won't tell you how to go about leaving it. If you figure it out, go ahead, but bare in mind that spam is intolerable and will be ignored/dealt with.

There is no download yet, we are still working on the code and the project, just wanted to let people know this is planned.
Update 6/5/2013 - Arena and Map settings have been finished, we will be making it play nicely with Multi-world setups next. We have also begun setting up a section on our forums to keep a giant list/database of public maps for download. Comments on this page have been removed due to the fact of the spam and lack of reading anyone was doing before posting

Commands
- '/cookieslap' - Head command of tree
- '/cookieslap join' - Join an open arena
- '/cookieslap leave' - Leave your arena
- '/cookieslap join <num>' - Join an arena by number
Permissions:
- cookieslap.arenas.create - Allowed to make arenas
- cookieslap.arenas.join
- cookieslap.arenas.join.<number> - give (or take) permissions to join arenas by number
- cookieslap.reload
- cookieslap.maps.save - save the spawns of new maps

Many thanks! Didn't mean to sound impatient (especially for free/volunteer software! lol) just wondering if this was one of the many awesome-sounding projects that have been declared and then immediately abandoned or if there's someone serious behind the helm and an actual timeline in place.
Glad to hear it is indeed being worked on, looking forward to the beta :D
In the meantime, you might get a kick out of the arena I plan to build... A walled-in arena with ladders (or possibly vines) covering the entire walls. Each of the 4 walls has a 4x4 hole in the center. The only way to win is to score a goal, using your opponent as the hockey puck! XD

It's been exactly two weeks, one of those weeks being my spring break meaning I was on vacation. I have no release date as I have school, the main CookieSlap server and life stuff to do on top of this project. I would like to at least have a beta version out within the next 2 weeks, and then some people who have offered to help will take over once I have the base code lined out and that should speed stuff up. It will be a slow process because I want it to be done right and not rushed, but I'm not pulling all nighters over it.

The project has been in the "Planning" stage for a couple weeks now.... (Not expectin you to rush out a release today, I'd just like to know whether we can expect a beta within the next few weeks or whether we can expect a beta some time in 2014 hehe)

That's the plan to run it like a minigame similar to how you can run SurvivalGames or Spleef as a minigame.
Also those explosions on death were removed 8 months ago :P
