This plugin is in beginning stages of development. A general list of TO-DOs is now available.
CityScape was originally intended to be a very basic, very crude square-grid village generator. We quickly realized that method would be very lackluster. We were going to add NPC's anyway, so we decided to scrap our original idea and make something even better! We are now working on making a non-official Millénaire replica. Please note that we are not affiliated with the developer(s) of Millénaire, nor are we using any of their code. This plugin will be designed from the ground up as an NPC interaction plugin that intends to accomplish the following:
- NPC building (using NPC's to build structures from a list of World Edit schematics)
- NPC roles (including but not limited to; builders, civilian, miner, deliverer, and more)
- Resource donation (storing resources in a chest in the town hall, to be taken by builders)
- Economy support (paid for your donations)
- Automation (mines, tree farms, and more, used to collect resources automatically)
- (tentative) Spout integration, for NPC textures.
I've always wanted to see Millénaire available for multiplayer, and after a year of waiting we decided to take it up ourselves and replicate it (without outright copying it) to the best of our abilities.
As of right now, we are coding the core aspects of the plugin. We are getting closer to releasing a beta!

CityScape require the server to be running Java 1.7 and World Edit 5.5.7+
Updated. It's still magically working with the old library. Functionally identical to the previous versions, but with little minor aesthetic bugs (like the NPC's head not rotating). We may plan on updating the plugin to utilize Citizens 2, but we're not positive.
It may take a little longer than originally anticipated to update CityScape. The NPS Pathing library we were dependent on hasn't been supported since 1.4.3. We're trying our best to find an alternative, however this may set us back by forcing us to rewrite certain aspects.
Hey guys, I know we have been dormant for the past months. Lots of other focuses that happened (android apps, PC game prototypes, real work, moving, getting ready for my wedding in a few months, yadda yadda yadda). I just wanted to let you all know we do still exist, and we hope to update our mods in the following couple weeks. No real updates intended yet, just updating everything to 1.6.x.
mod is dead ?
My sad villagers are sadly waiting around for the zombies to come and convert them, since they are unable to build their town/ cityscape with various defences.
(Please update me)
Love the mod and all the work you guys have been putting into this. Any idea when you'll have something for 1.5.2 or anything that a server owner can help test with? Waiting to update :)
Of course. The best plugin to use with Factions and Towny, doesnt have any permissions D: If there is a permission to block the /makecity command, tell me. I dont want everyone creating cities everywhere.
would be nice if you could update it to 1.5. its a pretty nice plugin
how to instal that mod???
@phozee
Yes, but keep in mind that the last 5 are "upgrades", so they will replace the first. You can technically upload your own, then do a custom update to 2-6 after the first is done.
Failed to load plugin. Using 1.4.6 r0.3

@Efniak
The CityScape folder in the zip contains 6 schematic files. Does replacing them work?
Now the plugin have just some schematics but i think if you add schematics for a city like: House Type 1,2,3,4,5 and other cool building the people will use this plugin for create their cities :P
Hello, I just downloaded this plugin, and i was amazed at it, i was literately grinning the whole time :D, You should add more stuff like houses, and make it so villagers spawn, and also make it so they build churches and stuff, but great work BECAUSE I FOUND THIS PLUGIN EPIC!
:)
when i tell the npc to makecity it just vanishes from where he is stood and no town hall is made
I sent you guys a message, please get back to me!
I confirm that the plugin break with 1.4.5 : iget that each time i use any command :
Minecraft 1.4.5, bukkit 1.4.5 beta.
And... a user manual would be really great. It's a bit long to get all commands and stuff in more than 100 comments.
Just a heads up: 1.4.x WILL break this plugin. (It's the NPC stuff that directly references the craftbukkit jar that's a problem.)
I will be waiting for a 1.4.x RB before I release any updates; Just FYI.
@wikkidshyt
I don't know what you mean by that. When you use /mc to make a city it uses whatever block you're looking at as the starting point and builds the TH (Town Hall) adjacent to it. The eventual goal is to have the TH and other buildings placed in a semi-random like manner determined by the surrounding land from the starting point.
Now I'm not sure what you mean by 'options' as there really arent any at this point but eventually the NPCs in the town will be expanded upon, (given 'life' so to speak) but right now the priority is the mechanics and placement of buildings and construction.
I should also point out that the /NPC commands exist as debugging tools/proof of concept, and will NOT be in the final version.
NPC commands:
/npc create
/npc move [NPC#]
/npc goto (sends the nearest NPC to what you're looking at)
@FeedDante
So there is no way to set the location? Like on builder for citizens 2. This plugin is the best of both worlds. Yours is faster, but theres has more options. You guys get those options in there, and this WILL be the best plugin out there. :)
