ChunkLoader
ChunkLoader
This plugin allows servers to keep chunks loaded while players are not around chunks. Meaning you can keep your farms growing and your redstone ticking.
Please note that this plugin is not yet fully complete. A demo video will be added soon

What does this plugin provide
This plugin Provides a way to keep a chunk loaded in memory when the player moves away from it or logoff. I plan to make this fully customizable:
TODO List
- Chunk can be unloaded if player logs off
- Player can have a limit of how many chunks he can have and if he can set it.
- The chunk belongs to a certain player and only he can change it
- A radius can be set from that chunk (fully comiziable with config file)
- Chunks can be unloaded after a certain period
- Cost for the chunk to stay loaded
- Cost to make a chunkloader
- World Edit support
MCStats.
This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics
notes: This plugin does work with ptweaks chunk unloading feature.

Posted Aug 11, 2017I seem to have an issue with this plugin. I am trying to keep my iron farm loaded so I don't have to afk near it constantly but half my villagers disappear upon restart of server. I remove plugin and they come back. its only when using this plugin do they disappear. strange issue but there it is. MC 1.12 btw.

Ummm I'm not a pro on how mob farms work, do you know how would you prevent this problem from happening? I might be able to adapt my plugin to fit your solutions (if there is one), however I don't fully understand how it works

Posted Jul 19, 2016So there is this amazing iron golem farm that has to be made in the spawn chunk, because when the chunk is unloaded, all the villages will turn into one big village. So I was wondering if this chunk loader loaded the chunk in a way that prevented that from happening, even if the server was turned off and back on again.

Good to know its works. not sure if it's working in 1.9 and below. I might just have to say "this is only suitable for 1.10"

Posted Jun 23, 2016Okay I'm going to bring this plugin back from the dead....
I'll be honest, I gave up on this after 1.7 as most people report it not to be working. however I believe I can atleast try and get this plugin working in top shape.
I've submitted a new versioning. and is at 0.0.1. until and wont be at version 1.0 untill I think its ready.
Please report any problems to https://github.com/James137137/ChunkLoader/issues
