I would like ChestShop to support several schemes of syntax.
One reason is, that the b:s pattern is flexible but not so nicely readable (ok, it is, but has drawbacks).\\A considerable number of people tends to not understand B and S, will ask around - later some people even assume B would be the currency.... it is good, but not intuitive.
I would fancy alterations and additions, that make clear if you are buying something or selling, and how many , and which is the price.\\For me it is no problem to sacrifice the flexibility on those options, so that in effect one can only either sell or buy stuff if using the alterated syntax.
Preferable seems to me to make clear, that buying or selling is done , for instance "Dagobert|sells|cooblestone|10 for 20 ($)", for sells/buys or maybe accepts/offers. The number and price specification like "10 for 150" with an optional currency symbol usually would not go beyond 15 characters, a "20 $ each" or "5 each" would also be a nice variation for selling one item at a time.
A very simpe way to make clear which is the price would be to allow something (configurable/list) like "10 pcs." for the specification of the number of items traded, maybe allowing for a currency sybmol (config) like "10$ B: 4 $ S", having minimal changes on the syntax checking.
Yeah - this will probably be in ChestShop 4.
