There should be some sort of feature that prevents players from storing items in chestshop chests that they are not selling. For example, a user creates a chestshop, and sells TNT, and the user tries to put in stone, but cannot as he is selling TNT and not stone. This should be added for those servers that have shop plots, so that the staff does not have to go though all the cheats and check this their self's. A setting in the config to toggle this would be great.

I would say a setting in the config to toggle it would be obligatory :)

Putting cobble in to control the risk of hoo many items people can sell at your shop is crucial to some servers...

I hope this can be implemented in the next update :)

@Yoshi910: Go This is really hard to implement, so it surely won't be in the next update.

Hope this can be added soon!

This is in NO WAY a cheat. A shop is a shop, and the owner decides how much to sell AND buy.

Great idea, I've been having this problem a bit recently.

I'd like to be able to prevent people from using shop chests as storage containers, but asofold has a point - being able to fill the chest so as to control how many items can be sold to the chest is importing.

What if, in the config, you could define a whitelist of items that could bypass the storage mechanism? For example, if I could tell the config to let players put dirt or stone in a chest shop, but nothing else (besides what they're selling). That way, players could still do what asofold mentioned, and it wouldn't particularly imbalance the game, since most people probably aren't too attached to dirt or stone.

This feature wouldn't solve the problem of people storing the same kind of item they're selling (ie, I make a chest that sells diamonds and store my diamonds in there, putting the price at 9999 so that no one buys them), but I imagine it would help to a great extent.

Great, this would solve alot of problems on my server! I wish you could add any feature to protect storing any items in a chestshop. is there any progress already?
