Nothing keeps growing, unless i am near and the chunk is loaded by the server.
It is the same for everything i plant, but i first noticed it with sugar cane.

I'm running R4, this log is from my productive server while i had to do a reboot.

Just look for "[PLAYER_COMMAND] Andy_HC: /item 338:0 1"
A few seconds after that i planted the sugar cane. And then gone to some other place about 50 chunks away.
I came back shortly before the following "connection reset"

The cane was planted by hand, as everything else is, i don't use farming plugins and my farms are all hand build.

As you can see, there is nothing in the logfile giving me any pointers.
I also tried it using my test server only running Essentials PermissionEx. Same effect :(

Please enable the debug mode in the config file. I cant see any plugin related information in your log file.
