This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

ChatNotifications

ChatNotifications is a plugin which plays a sound on a player's client when they are mentioned. For example, if my username was "Dice_Roller", and somebody said "@Dice_Roller come here" then a piano key would play alerting me and signalling me to look at the chat.

Permissions

  • ChatNotifications.hear - Allow players to be able to hear when they are mentioned

Planned features

  1. Colour the chat for the player being mentioned
  2. Allow configuration (e.g. change '@' to '#')
  3. Allow player name autocompletion
  4. Add more permissions
