CensorShip
CensorShip
Important
This plugin has been updated to version 3.0 (working with 1.7.9/1.7.10 and should work with Glowstone on 1.8, but not tested yet). However I would love to get some support of you guys. To support me you can give feedback in the comments or spend small amounts of money.
Also notice, that the current version is completely rewritten and that there could be some bugs that I did not recognize yet.
CensorShip
This Plugin simply replaces custom words with other custom words, like replacing shit with blah.
You can say what action will be done with the player: kick, ban, tempban or none. There are also penalty-points the players get for using a forbidden word. They also can get muted. A new feature is that you can censor commands like /msg and /r
Adding words | How to start | Commands | Permissions | Configuration

@Bw2801
I'm eagerly awaiting. Very thanks!
@CapBlackShot
Yes I can.
When I active "check-commands", as "/r", for example, I can't execute "/reload" or "/region", nothing that start with "/r".
Can you fix this?
Thanks!
Okay, I know there are some conflicts with the signs option. I'll see what I can do.
Also in one of the next versions I'll add a online database using stats for implementing words.
@dragondeatth
Thats an interesting idea.
I have the same problem as NexXt1024. When I set true checking custom words on a sign, i can't create Chestshop or Lift (Craftbook).
I found a bug in the plugin. Check if the plug sign, then the sign writing at the end of each line is added to non-printing character, which is why, for example, does not work mob-arena. (Translated by Google translator. Translation could contain mistakes, Thanks!)
SOLVED
im getting this error when i try to swear:
using latest spigot build, latest censorship build
when im admin ( * permissions) it censors the word without error (doesnt kick me like it should, but i consider its a permissions thing)
as soon i change to a different rank without any permissions i get this error
@Bw2801
ok thanks :) abit late to reply
@dragondeatth
Maybe I could add stats. Servers CAN send words to the database and if there are multiple servers using that words they will be added to the database.
@Bw2801
I don't know, that's up to you :-) If you make an open database it will go much faster, but some people may also insert troll stuff. If you do it yourself, no one can add troll stuff, but it will take much longer to make, so it's really up to you :D
@dragondeatth
Should I make a open database so everyone can type his words or should only I have access to add words?
@merlinshaw
The problem is there are almost 50+ exception words for each single swear word I've censored. And I have about 100 words censored. It would take centuries to type in. My suggestion is this plugin should be connected to some kind of online word list, and when someone types in a word, containing a swear word (like glass), the plugin should search the online word list, and if the word the player wrote is in the online word list, it won't be censored. :)
@dragondeatth
This plugin already does this..
/censor add exception (word) (exception)
So it would be like this.
/censor add exception ass glass
If you want to make this plugin unique, I would recommend adding this feature which no other plugins have:
For example, I have the word "ass" censored, and when someone writes "glass" the plugin thinks the player is swearing. If your plugin could detect if the word is good, this plugin would be the best :)
It works like a clock! without problems and bugs! Thank you! now it's really what I wanted! Best plugin!
@epialesofaergia @NegroBob
Oh I'll fix it!
Stopped working on my server. Was working great but all the sudden stopped. Haven't got it going again.
I've been trying to get this to work on my server, and after a few attempts i finally got swear words to replace. Unfortunately, when my server restarted, it wiped my config.yml and I haven't been able to get it working again.
